Much agreed. The epic finish of Right in Two is TOOL's finest moment. Jambi from AJ's chunky solo just kills. Lots of prog/jazz influence there.

If I had to choose one rockin' moment on the album.
The bridge of "the pot" man that kicks so much ass!
the bass, everything...amazing!

The first verse of Vicarious: 'killed by the husband/drowned by the ocean/shot by his own son'.....love the vocal delivery of these lines Maynard uses.

That last part of "Lipan Conjuring" that sounds like Trent Reznor screaming is pretty cool, too.

Around 3:00 into Rosetta Stoned. Adam's playing that hypnotic guitar riff and Danny comes in with a fill, and gradually slows the tempo until it's in sync with the guitar.
Then Maynard comes in with those crazy vocals. Acid flashbacks all over the place. On first listen, that stuck out the most ( besides of course beginning of The Pot)

when he sings:
"Set as I am in my ways and my arrogance.
Burden of proof tossed upon non-believers.
You were my witness.
My eyes, my evidence.
Judith Marie, unconditional one. "
I get goosebumps....

44 seconds into Jambi: the bass riff that commences there blows my mind! Sends awesome 'Lateralus' chills down my spine.
4:10 of Jambi. That Guitar solo rocks!!!
Jambi is my favourite track on the album... I dig listening to it and looking at the 'fire serpent' picture in the album notes = )

My mind keeps changing on which moments I like best. One thing that has been the biggest surprise for me is Adam's playing. His solo's are sweet throughout this thing. He really picked it up several notches.

Vicarious> AS soon as Danny kicks in with the ride cymbal after that snare roll...it's just perfect. You are just like "Fuck yeah...this is Tool." And the ending of the song is just amazing.
Jambi> The timing is just mind bending.
10,000 Days/wings> So powerful I have only listened to it twice. I don't see how Maynard will ever play this live. It's got to be painful.
The Pot> The bass is amazing.
Intension> The whole thing. One of my favorites on the album.
Rosetta Stoned> The last 6 minutes is Tool at their best, as another poster already put it. It is four musician's meshing perfectly to articulate one idea. It's astonishing and just builds and builds. Absolutely beautiful.
