Why is that most people over look Undertow, Opiate and sometimes Salival? I think these are still excellent albums, everyone now is all Lateralus, yes it is real god, but doesnt have the variation of opiate or undertow, more melody, but meaning revolve around nearly the same thing.

That's what I like about the earlier albums; they are more just ramdom thoughts and ideas rather than just one encompassing theme like Lateralus. The styles of songs are more varied as well. Not downing Lateralus though, It's in my top five.
