a vast space of possibilites surrounds me
catches me in its waves
many entities I cross within its boundaries
all of whom are made of clay
they support themselves up like ladders
falling and crawling to reach the top
even though there is nothing there no one will stop
freedom they cry
from what is the question
their faults and their bad decisions
no one learns their lesson
no doors or handles one way out
not death we shout
one enemy lives near
he subsides in the clay
his name is fear
fear lives on lives and eats all cries
slowly he remembers he is the master of lies
seeking nothing but anything he can
as long as its not the good of man
an entity i crossed reminded me of the past
to the place I was and will see last
for a simple entity it was so pure
but for me fear it could not cast
no destiny holds me to this place
desolate and lonely seems everyones face
they seem to take comfort in the repetition of the waves
for no one knows the if or the when of the end of their days
with my arms across the air
i reach for something more to care
as a pattern I watch all my moves
the spiral curse gives no clues
try to find the center in me
worth it not once you find the key
better yet just drink your tea
