since the video is all digital, and looks like its made with a 3D animation program. Adam could be working on making a 3d movie. one that you would watch with the glasses that come with the cd. i also noticed that there is a 2 in the top of the picture that is posted. it could be the 2nd image of the 2 needed for stereoscopic viewing
man, I can't wait for this. They are really taking their sweet time. But I am sure it will be worth th elong wait. I still think Rosetta Stoned video (or Jambi) would have been better

i'm thinkin it's definetly gonna be in 3d with the stereoscopic lenses. bonus material could possibly be live shit, but if it is it won't be anymore than one song and it most definetly won't be video, just audio. i'm thinking it will just be behind the scenes bullshit like "the making of" and what not. gay shit.
3-D would be very cool, and would tie right in with the album art. I pre-ordered from amazon today and it was only $11 so I'm not thinking there will be a lot of bonus stuff on there.

That's a pretty cool front cover, but I don't think it'll be the one that's used in the final release.
As for all the specualtion about extra content, I wouldn't get my hopes up too much. The Vicarious DVD will be no different from the Schism and Parabola DVDs. Shit commentary along with a token remix. That's what it'll be.

TOOL: More 'Vicarious' DVD Details Revealed - Nov. 28, 2007
TOOL will issue a DVD called "Vicarious" on December 18. According to a press release, the disc will contain the title video — which was for the first single from the band's 2006 album, "10,000 Days" — along with "a tour that takes you through the history of [TOOL guitarist] Adam Jones' visual effects work, and the process and people involved in the creation of the groundbreaking, all-CGI video 'Vicarious', as well as a tour of Alex Grey's CoSM." The audio commentary on the video was done by comedian David Cross.

There are 2 reviews up there now - I think it's real. "Live video versions of Vicarious and Swamp Song new guy is claiming, both from the Pearl shows. Did they play Swamp Song there?? Or maybe the dude just got confused.
But all I can say is, if that's true... holy fuckin shit! It is really what we've all been waiting for. Looks like maybe Adam's giving us a little reward and Christmas gift.

They filmed apparently; were being VERY tough on camera flashes. Also Swamp Song seems to have gotten particularly glowing reviews, apparently making for particularly glowing concert footage ;)
Was the second night, they had warmed up in anticipation of filming and were comfortable with the venue giving it just that right energy.
