Dude but the garden sucks. I think i'm heading to CT. It's about the same distance from here.
Edit: Does the garden suck for concerts? I have a friend who says it does but would love some other opinions. Everyone on Fourtheye is saying the mohegan sun arena is sick.

You're aware what they did last time right? It's like some of you guys don't want to acknowledge that they do, in fact, change things for the better a lot of times.

I am aware. I have never seen it and they haven't brought a different tour to my neck of the woods yet. I will believe it when I see it.
I mean, I want them to change it up again if they can, but I'd take the last setlist a few times over still and be ecstatic. Third Eye alone made my decade of concert going.

If they just played those three songs and then left the stage I would be happy.
Intolerance was amazing as well. I could do with that one again. My main hope is that they'll drag out D/R/T (or hell, just disposition and reflection) as a kind of "centerpiece" to the show since they're not doing Wings anymore.
Or bring back Rosetta Stoned. I know most are tired of it, but I missed it last time. Though I guess Third Eye kind of takes that spot, thematically and length wise.
If the setlist is still largely dictated by Maynard, I'm wondering why they wouldn't pull out The Grudge this time around. With the exception of the ridiculous scream at the end, that one doesn't seem like it'd be particularly hard on his aging pipes.
But yea, if we get that Nokia night 2 setlist again, I'll have a smile on my face for months

I’m really glad that they finally put up Atlanta details. Is there any kind of presale at all? I’m always concerned that I will get stuck with shitty tickets on ticketmaster… mostly because I always do. Is there a trick to getting good tickets? I always use the web, right at the time of sale.

Call on the phone at the same time. The phone is easier to ask for specific tickets while you're pulling up "backups" online.
Anyone hearing anything about a Charlotte show or any others that may fill the gap between the 1st and 8th? I can probably only afford one show this go around, but will get ATL tix on Friday if no more news comes out.

I always thought that went without saying, but yes, DEFINITELY that.
Just in case.
Plus I always tell folks that if the security word puzzle thingy looks too crazy, hit "new" and get another one, it's faster than putting the wrong one in.

If you are not logged in and don't have an account, don't they hold your tickets for five or so minutes anyway? I guess it increases turnaround time for multiple attempts, but it seems like it wouldn't matter if you got the right tickets the first time around.
I'm hoping to see the other southeastern dates before I buy an ATL ticket. Charlotte seems like a natural precursor to ATL.
Nashville or Knoxville would be nice, but they are often overlooked on tours that include an ATL date. Though, in 2009 (or was it 2007?) Tool played Greenville SC the night before Atlanta - which was a little unexpected given how close those cities are.
If anybody has both a landline and a smartphone, I suggest trying the LiveNation app as an additional source to secure tickets. I've read several success stories recently, regarding quickness, and seat location using the app. For example, when Radiohead tickets went onsale for the Phoenix show, everybody that used the app easily got floor and premium lower level seats, while those online felt lucky just to pull a pair in the lower level. Nobody that tried online got floor seats.

Actually, this one's a really good call. Heard the same thing.
