Same. I get the feeling that the Denver poster will be completely different, rather than the same design in a different color, or whatever.

No Schism. First time in 13 years it wasn't performed, to my knowledge. Called it on no 7empest just yet. Pls add Descending back for the upcoming arena shows and that set is a winner!

What a show! Sharp on all levels. I hope the new stuff gets more attention (soon.)
I'm a happy Tool fan today.

Ditch 46&2 and The Pot for 7empest & Descending. I’m hoping between both nights in Denver, I’ll see both along with Pneuma. Also would also go for DRT any day of the week.100%.

Crisp vocals, MJK up front in the mix, Adam on point and tight. Hopefully being a festival this is not the full or permanent set list, although I suspect it's pretty close.
Bug thumbs up from me, my 27th show or something like that

Re: General Tool Discussion
Crisp vocals, MJK up front in the mix, Adam on point and tight. Hopefully being a festival this is not the full or permanent set list, although I suspect it's pretty close.
Bug thumbs up from me, my 27th show or something like that

maaaan.
Idk why i would be surprised, but i was not expecting them to keep playing the same songs they have played for the last 10 years. I was expecting a small mix of older stuff, but more FI. Similar to how the 10k setlist were. Pretty disappointing, though i hope they continue to play part of me.
could care less about tempest. Weakest song on FI in my opinion. I hope they add culling voices and descending. Im not sure what they would pull out of the set, but im hoping the arena tours produce a few small changes.

Maybe in Denver! Let's hope so.
A couple of the standards really sounded tired (rushed) last night. If we could drop a couple and add 7tempest, I'd be really happy.

I completely agree. Need Culling Voices and Descending along with Fear Inoculum from the new album, best three songs in my opinion. Invincible is also a worthy addition.
I don't get all the love for Pneuma and 7empest....they are good songs but the others are much stronger.

Its interesting to hear what different tracks people connect with.
To me CV is the weakest track but still awesome.
The general consensus with my (non internet) friends is that 7empest is the best cut by far so I was taken aback a bit that was not the universal sentiment.
On a similar note: the Denver setlists should give us some good insight as to what the rest of the tour will look like.

It looks like they are going to ease into eventually playing most of FI on tour. It gives fans much to look forward to!!
Also, please play in Oregon next tour!!!! Thanks (:

After lunch at Cheba Hut, we’ve checked into our hotel in Denver. So excited for the next 48 hours! Anyone have tips on best pregaming spots near Pepsi Center, or things to do tomorrow?

Falling Rock over by Coors Field is an awesome brew spot.
If you are mobile. The Brewery Tour in Golden is pretty cool.

Damn it, when they announced this tour I had tickets to another concert, but it got rained out and it was too late to make the Denver show which is the closest for me. Anyone going to Denver tomorrow have fun!

Invincible was excellent. Was surprised that Descending was left out...and replaced by Schism. “Replaced” is probably the wrong word. But...I’m sticking with it.
Show tonight was great. Loved getting to see Intolerance again. I also hadn’t seen The Pot since KC in ‘06. That was fun. Was really hoping to lose Schism or 46&2, but they’re so well-played at this point it’s really hard to complain. New material really shined, I thought.
Anyone here know who played the first Jambi solo? Maynard dropped the name at the end of the show, but I missed it.
New production is refreshing; loved Danny center stage and Maynard going from stage right to stage left. Great crowd. Great energy from the band. Looking forward to night 2 tomorrow.

Jambi
Intolerance
46&2
Intermission
Invincible
Stinkfist
I probably have that out of order. It wss a great show as usual, I just wish they added Descending or 7empest. My daughter finally got to see them, she was impressed with the "old man rock."

Yeah, i usually try not to complain, but what is with them playing vicarious and taking Descending out.
My first thought was maybe Maynard didn't feel he had some of the newer stuff rehearsed enough, but then i thought about it and they played descending on every spring date. Just doesn't make sense to me.

I think that we will see the most diverse changes in set lists over the next few tours (compared to past one's). Tool has a plethora of weapons and they choose to use them when and where they want. The new songs along with the background visuals are absolutely amazing!! I am so in love with Tool.
Welcome back boys!
