Did everyone else get the "Theater" configuration, when trying to buy tickets for the Feb. 1st show at Izod? Wtf? I can't believe Tool would request a half-arena config. They're not doing a ton of dates, so they can't possibly think the demand would be any less than two years ago. As a result, I was only ever offered tickets in the rear half of the arena!
BUT... Two hours later, when all but singles were left, I tried buying a pair of seats and the system spit out tickets for a spot two sections BEHIND the stage? Feels like TM f'ed this one up. I'll be pissed if the rest of the arena opens up later or tomorrow.

What was your experience?
I went on 10 minutes ago and now there is no map. You must select the map yourself meaning ticketmaster which does not say TOOL as a selection. Conveniently the IZOD center box office is not open till Monday, so they will not answer the phone. did screw this up. There are only seats behind the stage. I assume there will not be GA but as a TM customer I should know what the set up will be the day of the show.

Too bad I can't even get onto ticketmaster at all now. What the hell are we paying $15 in TM fees if they SUCK!!!
I just feel really bad about the people who woke up and waited only to get 200 level seats in the last row.
Plus I am a huge fan of concerts but TOOL keeps playing short sets, so I am actually thinking about saving my $80 bucks for another band/concert. Total BS to me and this is the stuff I thought a band like TOOL would hate.

The venue site still says it is theater. Where is it posted that they made it full? Thinking it's still theater and those tickets are for side and behind the stage. Stub hub still has it as theatre as well. If it went full, Wouldn't stubhub be one of the first showing tickets?

As your can see in this link, the stadium seating is very steep [hockey game pic]. I went to a TOOL show at this venue back in 06'. The sounds was pretty good in section in the 200 level seating but it was not set up as a theatre (more of a END STAGE getting cut off @ Sec 112-118). I was in section 209 row 20 and it was definetly steep but the view was pretty good. I remember saying the floor seats must suck if you are not tall to my friend. The best section in my opinon for this show would be 101,128,102 or front row on the floor.
We all know that brokers sell the front row setas on stub hub but the are way over-priced especially if this is a non-album tour.
Hope this helps. Another thing I remember about being higher up is the visuals [screens/lasers] were great!!

I just ordered 2 tickets Section 108 Row 3!! That is either very close to the left side of the stage for theatre set up or middle of stadium seating for End Stage setup. Either way I think it should be a great view. Seems like TM is opening up more sections today. When I go to the ticket window it now shows End stage instead of theatre! Like I said before, people who purchased corner 200 level seating should be pissed at TM.
-I just hope they play for more than an hour and a half and have a mix of all their stuff. I saw them 3 times between 06-07' and it seemed like the same concert everytime with a song added or deleted.

i wish i wasnt right. theatre setup would have been incredible. much more sexy and intimate!
ohhh cool.
wanna hear something funny? lol. you're in the section directly across from me, same exact row.

Hi all - I have 4 tickets to the Boston show that I'd like to sell or trade for 4 tickets to this show. Anybody interested? I'm not a broker. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.
Does anyone here have an idea of how the floor sections are gonna be? I didn't see GA on the ticket but, most venues write up a row and seat number ,even when it is.

the floor is sec. 1-9 seating! not GA
1 is in the back right
9 is in the front left
looks like this.
stage
9 8 7
6 5 4
3 2 1
Do we know around what time TOOL will come on? Tickets say 7:30 and I'm sure there's an opening band. And I don't want to look at reviews on previous shows to spoil the setlist.

i scored some nice floor tickets like an hour or two after they went on sale then the whole seating chart changed and I ended up with some really nice floors on the elevated risers by the FOH.
we cancelled/ sold the other pairs accordingly
