why do you think he is saying that? I listened to it with those words in mind, but it doesn't sound like it.

That's intersting - I hear that phrase almost exactly word for word...the only word that is somewhat hard to understand is "existence".

He draws each word out, something like this:

Yoooooooooou could beeeeeeeee the oooooooooooone who saaaaaaaaves me frooooom my oooowwn (existence)?

Seems pretty clear to me.

There are, however, other words not long after the part we're discussing that I cannot understand all. I'm trying to think of a good way to describe them (from 4:55 to 5:06) - Maynard uses some kind of voice-altering technolegy when he says them...does anyone know what the hell he's saying there?
