The important part of the post, however, is that Tool played one fuck of a setlist that night, and that it breached the 3 hour mark. Best night ever.
I think the important part was you telling me I was definitely wrong without checking your facts. That was a bit annoying.

SWEET!
Scored a pair of tickets for Chapelle! There were about 10 of us trying and I was the *only* one of the group to wheel a pair! They added a swecond show as well - the same night!
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Ticketmaster is f-ed up. I just noticed a peculiar charge on my credit card and contacted ticketmaster about it. Apparently the order that didn't go through, went through! It's not even listed in my account on TM. I've never seen ticketmaster so messed up. Tool brought them to sludge. Good news for my 2 friends who now have section 203 instead of 300's.
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre

Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
So what songs is everyone hoping to hear?
As I said before this is my first Tool concert so anything I'd be happy with. My favourite song(s) would be great to hear. I'd also love to hear 10,000 Days (Wings Part 2) and Rosetta Stoned played but I'm not sure how likely that is to happen.

Is the limo bus really 40 $ per people.
If so, maybe my friends and I would be interested. We are coming from Montreal and looking for a place to party before and after the show !! 40 $ is pretty cheap.
The only thing that would stop us from doing this is if we can't smoke in the bus.
So, if you could give me more info ( a website would be great), I'll get back to you
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Insanekat - Rosetta Stoned was (technically) the 2nd song at the H-Brd gig, they didn't play 10,000 days, we'll see in the 27 gigs bfor Toronto's what they add
My top hopes r - Parabola, Ticks, Hooker & Opiate (IMO the other staples r a given)
p.s - 3 days 'till the San Diego street scene show

Off topic, but today I am officially 10,000 days old. I'm not sure what to do with that information other than post it here or use it as an excuse to have a few drinks and listen to Tool :)

Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Those tickets I won from the radio station are Lawn section seats, and I am immensely angry. Seriously, what the fuck kind of establishment hands out the shittiest tickets available, their reputation has officially tanked.
Hopefully lawn isn't too horrendous. And yes I'm complaining about tickets I didn't pay for because I won them before shit went on-sale so I didn't bother to get anything else knowing I had already gotten tickets. Fuck FM96 in its stupid ass.
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Underalus - In defense of lawns: or at least trying to put a good spin on them
'shittiest tickets available' - This is all relative to how much you actually want 2 b able 2 c them up-close right - there r alot of benefits that go w/ the lawn section (for one) u don't have to be worried about the obstruction that the giant light poles present in (the back of) sections 302, 304 (two) u have your choice of where (one side (center) to the other side) u r going to sit/stand (three) it's all about the atmosphere (a nice sunset) - seats don't compare (four) it (the sound) is not going 2 b distorted
'Hopefully lawn isn't too horrendous' - This ONLY applies IF the weather is absolutely f**king, dreadfully pissing out .... then (Bring an umbrella, just in case) if so, It then becomes somewhat of a religious experience, cool!)
No, definately not - u may not b able to c what colour of pick Adam is using or what colour of shoes Justin has on (actually I don't think he wears shoes on stage .... does he?) so there, it doesn't matter anyways
- If your w/ the little lady (the free space) for sex is in abundance
- u have the freedom to get away from thy (bothersome) neighbour if need b
- can u say lack of red-shirts
u might actually have a good time - look at (and focus on) the positive
If none of this helps (I tried) u do have the option of upgrading (care of your (then, day-of) local douchebag-broker)

Hey John, that really stinks -- but i'm not surprised. FM96 is notorious for incredibly shitty seats (see my post above... ). I'm not sure what the problem is there -- the only time they ever had good seats was for the most recent small venue Tool show in Detroit, and I have a theory that "friends" of the station got those front row seats!
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Thanks Sith, that helped. I also got a pic of the stage from front lawns and it's really not bad at all. Honest to god, as long as the sound doesn't get muddy and shitty, I couldn't really care less.
Also...the sex thing sounds great. I'm taking a girl and we met because she said she always wanted to bone at a Tool show to stinkfist...which they WILL DEFINITELY play. positive positive.

Man, where do I start?
I dunno which is more frightening – the thought of turning around and seeing your man-ass or the thought of a chick whose "always wanted" to hit it during a song about getting shoulder deep inside the border line.
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Bino - Maybe even a couple of sisters LOL!
Same drill as last time ppl - I've used the info posted
- If u want 2 b located more specifically than u r (PM me)
- If u want on (interested, or even care) let me know your specific TIX detail
- If I have your info wrong let me know
It (the seating plan) will b updated (visuals will b added) Etc. as we go along
(if u would like one) I'll have several printed ones at the AMP on the 23rd

Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Great job again with the seating chart Sith!
Thanks to a kind TDN member, I'll have Section 402, Row G, seats 17 and 18 instead of my lawns. If anyone knows anyone who is looking for a pair of lawns, please PM me. I'll be making at post on the TDN hookup thread in a week or two.
Insanekat, if you still need a question answered re: Hummingbird, feel free to send over a message.
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Sith: nice job with the chart! Just one little thing, I'm in section 401, not 402 (minor detail, I know, but just wanted to point that out).
Dornan: You asked me where my seats were and if you're still reading this, we have seats 1, 2 and 3. (Anybody know how the numbering works? Like if this is all the way to the side or closest to section 402?) The ticket mentions aisle 1, if that helps...
Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Nith Sahor - Will 'ave u fixed 4 the next image-post. As it reads on the TicketBastard 'AMP' seat-plan that I have (and used for the image but deleted that info so as 2 'ave more room) Aisle 1 is on the extreme East side w/ seats 1, 2, 3 Etc. moving (left) towards section 402 or West
This goes 4 every section, including Floors (when there is seating)

Re: 2006/09/23 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
Every section at the AMP (101 - 410) has (on its seating plan) each row travelling from the East to West (Seat 1 to 25, 30, 44 Etc. However the length of the row)
Although the AMP Floors do NOT (according to TicketBastard Etc.) have seating for this TOOL show (GA Floors and Lawns) there are certain concerts where they (Floors, Lawns) may have seats (and a seating plan for such) TIX for the TOOL gig may have seat #'s on them
I guess it's up to the band whether there are floor seats or not?
I see that at yesterday's TOOL gig at the San Diego Street scene Festival Maynard had to stop the show and chill the F**k out of all of the moshers that were pushin' and causin' shit so as that no one ended up being trampled or hurt
