About being eternal...

Supposedly, two things will happen to this universe.
1. It won't stop expanding
2. It will stop expanding and gravity will pull all matter into a single point of oblivion.

Which one would you prefer. Some might say #1, but I say #2 is much better in many ways.

The second part to #2 is that another Big Bang will occur after that, creating galaxies, solar systems, and worlds anew without memories of past universes (or is it universi). There won't be any eternal END OF THE WORLD, but merely, and I quote from Closing Time, "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end". Life, yet of completely different species goes on and on. Whooosh. I like that a hell of a lot better than the widely renowned "End of the World" theory.

This is just a thought with some relation to Parabola.
