Though complete speculation, I really noticed a lot of hints to a new Tool album. Blair also mentioned in it that there are more than one projects being looked into pursuing but they're waiting for their attorney's approval and things of that nature for them. He mentioned that everyone had a small project going on dealing with Tool with the exception of Maynard. This is the first time I've ever really thought that maybe a Tool album, even if just in a jamming/concept kind of stage is coming. Anyone else read that and get a similar or different feeling?

I'd say you're fairly close with the Pot video. But if I know Tool, they'll make a video for Jambi before they would the pot, since it's also a single now. As for this DVD, maybe they'll release some new form of interactive DVD/Blue Ray that's more than just live footage, even though I'd be more than satisfied with just live footage. New album, probably not gonna even talk about this one until a year from now, but i could be very well damn wrong. I'd say danny is finally gonna release some Zaum stuff, maybe adam and robert fripp, which would be godlike! Maynards probably making his own cookie line and home decorating TV show...

I had no idea about zaum til now, that would be kick ass. And I didn't get a 'making a video' vibe out of the newsletter, It's almost as if adam don't care too much about the video(s).

So you've been walking daily to your local music shop for the last two and a half years for nothing?

Are you serious? I don't think anyone will "get the answer" especially from a digital ouija board.
That's just Blair fucking with you, friend.

It's not his fault that all CGI videos take forever to make.

Adam doesn't care about the videos? IMO, I'd say he's a more visual artist than anything. I think the cgi could of been more solid, but it was also his first attempt at cgi, you gotta give the man a break.

IMO, it's going to be a tour with new material + old material.
The tour will be taped for a future DVD.
Tool will then record the new album properly in the studio and release it as an album, along with the DVD.
