I am perched on a immortal rock full of character

That sits in the sea of incredible magic mystery

I worship the sea, I find peace on this beautiful beach

I come here to think and I come here to write

I love wandering here, adoring the moon at night

I imagine mystical mermaids playing around the erect haystacks

They curiously gaze at me, peeking out from the stack

I wonder what they’re whispering behind my back?

The sea gives me strength, and the sea gives me hope

I find serenity here, as it helps me cope

I love listening to the waves constantly crashing on the rocks

The ocean is mighty powerful

Ad the rocks just sit there, frozen in the sand

Accepting this pounding, it takes several decades

Just to barely polish it, to be smooth and rounded

Echos sounding off, jarring and bouncing

A continuous, nonstop resounding slur

Of Mother Nature’s mesmerizing and thunderous purr

Before I leave my favorite beach

As this is my second home

I draw an enormously large heart in the wet sand

Where ocean water kisses and touches dry land

Metaphorically, I am that immortal rock that sits in the sea
