Or landed on my mahogany branches

Like a hummingbird’s morning tune

With heat residing within the Birds of Paradise bloom

Before the last of the Pine Tree needles were caught

If she had come

And she called her name

Before the lights of the dazzling jewels

Mesmerize her eyes , fading in the Autumn sunset
