If anybody has both a landline and a smartphone, I suggest trying the LiveNation app as an additional source to secure tickets. I've read several success stories recently, regarding quickness, and seat location using the app. For example, when Radiohead tickets went onsale for the Phoenix show, everybody that used the app easily got floor and premium lower level seats, while those online felt lucky just to pull a pair in the lower level. Nobody that tried online got floor seats.
Why not try both?

I thought it was actually a Vegas show at the Thomas and Mack. It wasn't the only time though, they played it a handful of times, I actually just listened to an audio recording of it from Wilkes-barre. They came back out like 15 min after the house lights came up and played it once most of the crowd had left...sneaky fuckers.

Glad to say I'll be at the 01/29/11 show in Camden, NJ. The tickets went FAST. I had two computers open, and put in for 4 tickets just as the screen changed to allow purchases. The first computer reserved me 4 tickets, the second told me no tickets were available. Insane.
The 4 tickets I was given were in the center section, way in the back. I filled out the form, but before submitting it, tried for 4 again on a whim, and was offered pit tickets. I promptly canceled my original order and grabbed the pit tickets instead, obviously.
By the time I submitted my order, groups of 4 tickets together were gone, and a few minutes later, groups of 2 were gone. I'd estimate it sold out, except for singles, in about 10 minutes.
Jeez. I definitely didn't get good tickets, but I got something. Ticket master completely screws with you, though. It told me several times that there were no tickets available before I pulled the ones that I did.
Well, I decided to gamble and NOT go for any Toledo tickets in the hopes that a closer date is announced for the first week of February...hope this decision pays off...
Holy shit. my brother who was getting tickets for me at camden tried to get 2 tickets at 10....
he told me that it said that they were sold out right away... it waited for 4 minutes and then sold out....
he was able to snag 2 singles tickets for me...
dont really know what the fuck i am going to do lol. was planning on bringing my girlfriend to the show and now i have 2 seats in totally different areas...

Heh, sorry. The random waiting room is bullshit - they should reward people who get there first. This is just a way to ease traffic on their servers, which aren't able to handle everyone arriving at once. Lame solution.
Damn TM was a mess this morning as usual.No tickets available the first couple of tries and then on the third try I got lower level SEC 116 for Duluth.

I noticed that Reno is not GA, it looks like many shows are not. That's kind of a change..

I managed to pull a rather sickening amount of tickets this morning doing the two computer + phone combo. There's 4 of us going, and at one point we had a total of 12 tickets between the two of us available (4 on my comp, 4 on his, and 4 on the phone). So, we went ahead and got 8 because another couple said they'd like to go.
So... I will likely have 2 pretty good seats for Duluth, GA for sale. Sec. 101, Row K. Will have to check seat numbers.
