The best DRT I saw was when King Crimson was opening and they would come out and jam w Danny. SDSU open air theater in 2001 if anybody else was there....

buddy of mine showed me an app called Skiplagged… found an $89 round trip flight and a $40 hotel room in just off the tenderloin in San Francisco. Decent deal since rooms were $150+ on major booking sites.

Does anyone else think MJK makes them play the same setlist over and over to passive aggressively punish them for not having new music? I do and therefore am expecting the standard set for this tour. Besides, that way I can only be pleasantly surprised.

IDK about punishing the other members but we do know for a fact that MJK pretty much decides the setlist. I believe he picks the set by what songs he can still sing without destroying his vocal cords and personal reasons. Its why you will probably never see Prison Sex performed again...too emotional. I think its safe to say that Arizona show was a good preview of the current tours setlist. FINGERS CROSSED that The Grudge and Parabola stay on the setlist. Im excited that im going to night 1 of the tour and cant peek at setlist!

I seen a interview with our boy Maynard talking about how the lyrics have changed from album to album stating " if I cant heal from my art then whats the point? Not gonna happen my friend. Been in this TOOL game since 1993. IDK under which circumstances where we would get DRT again. On a side note, I have a album where a string quartet does TOOL covers and they do Disposition....I had that as my "walk out" entrance song at my wedding. Epic.

Probably at this point my least favorite TOOL song (ESPECIALLY live) but im about to BLAST Sober in dedication to you Lotus on my stereo. Which ROCKS hard...you can hear it 5 blocks away...litterly. Shit falls off the wall and shelves.

I was recently called out by the moderator on Setlist.fm who deleted my addition of Faaip De Oaid to the setlist of Reno 2002 show. He asked for my source because he said " it isnt here", referring to THIS websites reviews of the show. Well for one I was there...for 2 ..if you read this link to a TOOL newsletter, 3/4ths of the way down in the newsletter, you will understand why MAJORITY of the people who attended that show didn't get to hear it. Sorry man. Not what I meant at all. Obviously he is not a scalper. Just pointing out that I noticed they are taking one on the chin for once. Good luck to him. I would post/check Craigslist - but he probably is already doing that. I imagine others being in the opposite position.
