LOL. That's like a 2.5 hour show. The last song (both parts) is almost 20 minutes. Don't get me wrong, I'd love it, but mine would look more like this:
Schism
46 & 2
The Patient
Reflection
The Pot
Rosetta Stoned
Third Eye
Prison Sex
Stinkfist
Pushit
Lateralus
Vicarious
Sober
Aenima

Seether was GREAT! They were LOUD and played hard from start to finish! It is nice to see a new rock band that has not gone the route or Staind/Nickelback and decided to play bullshit pop music to sell albums to 13 year old girls! They covered Heat Shaped Box and Walk by Pantera!!! What a show!
Damn...I really wish I didn't read that song information that was posted above but oh well, shit happens. I am way to exited about this show to give a shit about anything anymore!
Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre
I don't have an idea of a full setlist... but tracks I would love to hear are...
new: Rosetta Stoned, Wings pt. 1 and 2, The Pot, Jambi
old: Third Eye, Lateralus, Parabola, Reflection, the Patient, the Grudge (Hell, the whole Lateralus album) 46&2, Aenema, H., Pushit.
Hahaha yeah I fail at setlist making. Those tracks would take very long. So if I had to just choose three tracks, it would be Wings Pt 1 and 2 (that counts as 1 ;)), Third Eye and Lateralus.

Yeah, I don't care - I've read every single review of every single show thus far. I know exactly what to expect and I'm fine with that. I can understand and respect those who want to be surprised, which is fair enough.

Please don't. Bands have setlists decided well ahead of the show, and bands such as Tool who have planned their evening will not cater to one person shouting out "Opiate" all night. That, and it's REALLY fucking annoying hearing that all night. Enjoy what the boys will have planned for you, you know it won't disappoint :)

I read it too, but I am definately the forgiving type. What I read talked about "those songs" NOT being played @ the last show. So it really doesn't ruin anything. I like reading setlists for most shows I go to see but not for Tool. Tool is just a different experience, different from anything I have ever experienced.

Opiate is at the top of my list of material that is NOT from 10,000 days. I have heard the rest of the old material that I need to hear already, but for some reason they are avoiding that song at the shows I have been to.
Don't worry though, I won't be a jackass and yell it through the entire show because you are right.....Tool of all bands will have every song they are going to play picked out and will give you what they came to give you.
Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre
I wouldn'tchant a song title all night by myself..but wonder if a band ever plays a song not on tehir list if the whole crowd yells for it.
I saw Metallica in 2004, and I was in the 2000 level where of course the band would never hear you...and there was some guy screaming at the top of his lungs "and justice for all" for 2+ hours.
anyways, i will definately go to their Fall tour toronto show and if they go to ottawa, London...anywhere in Ontario really...where hopefully the set will have more from my specific favourite song list
Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre
Well after a brutal last month of trying to get tickets and finally meeting a scalper in T.O. I am off to see Tool at the Hummmingbird Tomorrow nite. $300 per ticket, I can pretty well gaurantee this will be a awesome show. I wouldn't miss this for the world. See all the lucky ones there. I will post again later in the week after my come down.
Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre
Shit and I thought I was the only one sittin here doin absolutely nothing but browsing the TOOL site... with a smile on my face feelin giddy like a 12 yr old at x-mas...
Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre
I see I'm not the only one freaking out about tomorrow night's show. I'm so exicted, my head may implode. LOL
I really don't care what they play. I love their whole catalog so it's all gravy as far as I'm concerned. As full and bright as I am
This light is not my own and
A million light reflections pass over me

Funny I was yelling the same thing in the pit and they didn't hear me either
Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre
Since it looks like it's destined to rain tomorrow... I forget the plan for meeting. Shall we look for someone with a giant table inside or are we meeting at a bar like area in Hot House?
Re: 2006/05/16 - Toronto, CAN - Hummingbird Centre
I haven't hear yet from my friend whose driving us there...left a cell message hours ago *nervous* and he owes me $175 for his ticket.
Not that concerned...just want to know when and where we're meeting...would ideally like to show up early...have a drink...and be there to get merch right away
