My best guess is that 2 of those 3 days will get filled, but I'm thinking it would be the 2nd and the 4th.

JUNIOR QUESTION FOR YOU:
so i know your a light tech guy but you have heard tool shows in a lot of different venues. the last 4 times tool has been to utah they have played at the e-center. on july 19 they are playing at energy solutions arena (used to be called the delta center). the last time a saw a concert there was in 1992 when i was 7 to see boys to men and mc hammer. LOL! so i have heard that the sound is horrible for concerts in there because they made it to be loud for the jazz. just wondering what your opinion on how good the sound will be in that arena?
Wow, I love it -- nice work. Seems like there might be 2 dates left in there. Seems most likely it would be Aug 3rd in the NYC area then Aug 4th in the Boston area. Or Boston then Montreal. I really, really want them to work in Detroit, but that seems like it would mess up the system of no more than 3 days in a row. Yeah, definitely thinking 2 filler shows left, most likely on the 3rd and 4th...

Is there any doubt Tool is playing Lolla on the 8th? I hope so because my sister is getting married that day. But I could do Cincy on the 7th and Lolla on the 9th...

I've been a fan for quite some time, so I was pretty happy to meet him.
It seems whenever Tool plays "Cold & Ugly" the riff they open with is from Rush's "A Passage to Bangkok". At least it was in Colorado Springs in 2002.

Either way, TOOL in Denver for their first show since early 2007 will be epic. Cold & Ugly is my favorite "oldie" song and if that is played I may as well shit my pants now. But it will be a great satisfaction to post setlists on this site before anyone else. I hope they don't cop out thier first show and give Denver the set they deserve! I WANT PUSHIT. Ok, enough drunk banter for me, I'll leave the rest up to you...
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
cant believe they are hiitin all these citys and wont even go to seattle. i still got my hopes up junior but you crashed them pretty hard :) just seems odd.
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
I could see them adding something between Duluth, GA and Charlotte, NC on 7/28. Depending on when they break, I could also see them adding something on 7/26 in either Little Rock or Jackson, MS. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt they will play 2 shows, take a day off, play one show, and then take another day off. Something will probably fill one of those gaps.

What a MESS! The "Find Tickets" link on LN directed to the venue website who didn't have a "Buy Now" option until 9:04 and even then it was small and hard to notice.

wow, what a fucking disaster.
The livenation page for the Rio Rancho show redirects you to the venue website, which clearly was not capable of supporting a large amount of people purchasing tickets at the same time. 14 minutes later it finally loads the page and lets me purchase 1 GA ticket.
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
that site is fucked. I click on "best available" and get no info, just tickets... uh, ok, gee, I hope they are good! seems there are no more GA right now, and the best I am getting is 202. :/
