I do prefer seeing Tool headline their own show indoors... but I'm getting to the point in life were I realize that comparing things really takes away from enjoying the moment. If I'm at a festival seeing Tool, I want to enjoy the moment. For example, I'm going to Aftershock, which has an awful sound system and is uncomfortably dusty. But when Tool plays, it will be awesome because Tool always delivers. I don't want to be watching thinking "seeing Tool was better this other time." I've seen Tool 13 times so far, so ever show can't be the best, but every show has been amazing. I want to enjoying the moment rather than stand there contemplating if the band/show is as good as other times.
And this does not just apply to Tool. As a regular concert goer, there are lots of great bands I've seen a lot. The point of paying money to go to shows is for a good time, so I realize being too cynical or over analytical takes away from the good time that is meant to be had.

What i find more interesting is that they now have a Vevo channel. Which means they must have a new contract that lets them put their music into the digital realm. New contract = New album right?
