Good luck plannin the meetup! I'll try and steer my group to it. I attempted a tool army meet up at the Kingston show and the Toronto show last time if I remember correctly. Brazenhead in Toronto and some Irish pub in Kingston anyone? Good times.

Reason: I don't have to explain myself to you! (typo, damn phone typing)
Wait which bar will it be on the esplanade? Ive only been to the beer market before and yeah we'll need numbers and a reservation cause it can get busy down there.
Alright guys, hopefully everything is good for Toronto meetup. I will be there for around 4:00PM to reserve an area/tables. No idea really how many people to expect. Definitely confirm here if you are going!
Plan is to stay until around 7:00PM. Intronaut hits the stage at 8:00 I believe, so there is no rush to get there early, especially since there's no GA floor. Only exception to this is if you want to line up early for merch. Either way, we'll figure it out when we get there.
As for the location: Basically you want to go to the Esplanade. It's a great little area 5 minutes from the Air Canada Centre. Here is a google street view of the place: Scotland Yard Pub (directly across in the image with the sign hidden by trees) is to the left of the Bier Markt.
As for the person who said Real Sports - yes, it's right beside the Air Canada Centre but the problem is that it's MUCH busier and would require a reservation, which isn't even a guarantee after business hours at that place. Other than that, I don't have an issue with it. If the majority want to go there, then it works for me too.
***ALSO IMPORTANT: For the meetup people, remember that some people there will not know the setlist and want to keep it a surprise until the show. Please be careful about what you say and to whom! Your best bet would be to ask before you squeal.***

Cheers.
I guess, yr right, Real Sports is always a shitshow.
I'm working till 6, but I work right near Bier Market, so I'll drop by at 6:15 or so.
I agree that the last show at ACC was the best ever and hope you guys have a delightful time.

You will have nothing but me and in a worse way than before -
Dissolving and reforming so quickly I seem only to flicker.
Kanadah, I'll likely shoot you a text or call ya as we're from out of town. Wheres the best parking in the area?
Also, my friggin cousin has now decided he wants to go to this show. No ticket, I had a good chuckle when he told me this today. Anyone have a ticket they need to sell? I doubt he's picky on where the seat it....
yeah still see one ticket front row of 117 pop up.
not a bad seat.
anyways, there are still tons of tickets on stubhub (ones you can print from your PC), I'm sure on some of them you can purchase one ticket, otherwise check kijiji.ca or craigslist toronto
I've got an extra pair of tix in Sec. 121, Row 15. Willing to let them go for under face value ($175), and can meet outside the venue before the show to get them to you. PM if interested.
Parabola was just Parabola. Absolutely amazing show, I'm glad they changed some things from the previous setlists. Sober was a great surprise. Lateralus and Aenema are ridiculously awesome live, maybe the best of the whole show.
Who's the drummer that played with Danny on Lateralus? He was really good.

according to newspaper review...
"I’m pretty sure even the dude who got pulled onstage for a drum duel with the superhuman Danny Carey during a climactic pre-encore assault “Lateralus” was sometime Crystal Castles drummer Chris Chartrand, exactly the same surprise guest as the last time."
I had no idea who that was even after hearing the name, so I looked it up....
Crystal Castles are an experimental electronic band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada
