Go to this website and click on 'SEATING LOCATOR' on the left hand side of the page. It provides a seating layout with numbered sections. It allows you to click and see a view of the stage from each section.

Re: 2007/04/21 - Atlantic City, NJ - Boardwalk Hall
ok uh, for starters, i will be trekking here from new york city...
couple of questions for those familiar with boardwalk hall, since ive never been to atlantic city before...
1) i'm looking for the CHEAPEST, BEST hotel that is VERY CLOSE to boardwalk and the casinos, since i will NOT have a car or anything.....it MUST be within walking distance....
2) um, how long does it take to get from penn station in ny to atlantic city?? or do you think i am better off taking one of those buses that take a load of old people to atlantic city??
Re: 2007/04/21 - Atlantic City, NJ - Boardwalk Hall
there are some pretty nice seats in there.
I checked out the price on Greyhound bueses. It's about a 2.5 hour drive from nyc; about 30 dollars for a two-way ticket. The buses leave and come back every hour, so its not so bad i think

1. it seems to me all hotels that are right on boardwalk hall are insanely expensive (for example, 400 a nite)...i'm looking for sumthing like uh, less than 200 for sure
Re: 2007/04/21 - Atlantic City, NJ - Boardwalk Hall
Hey guys...Pretty excited about this show..I have seen a number of concerts down AC and its always a good time..Although, never seen one at the Boardwalk hall..Im pretty sure its next to Trump Plaza and usually a place where they have boat shows, wrestling ect....ANyway for u guys looking for a hotel u should fine rates around 80 bucks right on the boardwalk..Try Trump Plaza,Ceasars, and ballys are all within 3 blocks..Im not sure where your getting 400 a nite..During the week u can stay at anyone of those for around 80 bucks and if u ever gamble there they usually toss a free room ur way..Looks like the place holds 17,000 for concerts so should be pretty awesome looks nice! http://stashbox.org/12258/Proscenium.jpg
Re: 2007/04/21 - Atlantic City, NJ - Boardwalk Hall
If you're looking for a cheap hotel you're not necessarily going to find it on the Boardwalk, and definetely not at one of the casinos on a weekend (the show is on a Saturday).
There are quite a few places that are cheap on Atlantic and Pacific Aves, but even these places got more expensive in recent years. They used to be about $40 a night now they're over $100 for a weekend night. Try looking up the Flamingo or Fox Manor Inn. They are major dumps (like almost every hotel/motel off the boardwalk), but are close to everything, you're safe, and are about as cheap as you'll find. They're only one or two blocks from the boardwalk. Depending on what is going on in the city that night you can probably get them for under $150 if you book now.
In short, for a cheap place to stay on a Saturday night you're not going to be looking at a casino or a chain (Howard Johnson, Budget Inn, etc). You'll have to find the locally-run place. And you don't want too stay too far from the Boardwalk. Try to keep it on Atlantic or Pacific Aves. Any web search will turn up these type of places.

Toolband.com says that there is a presale for Tool Army members only on Friday, March 2nd. Tickets will be available for the general public on Saturday, March 3rd.
Based on another post in this forum, there are restrictions on the Tool Army presale. There is a 2 ticket limit and you have to be within a 100 mile radius of the venue.

Tool websites are saying that presale is march 2 and general public sales are march 3. Ticketmaster is saying tickets for AC show go on sale friday the 23rd of Feb. Anyone know what the deal is, will TA members be able to get presales?

Re: 2007/04/21 - Atlantic City, NJ - Boardwalk Hall
I've been to a Hockey Game at Boardwalk Hall. It's a really cool venue. While watching the game, I was actually thinking that the Hall would be a great place for a rock show. Now, we get our chance to test that theory... if only we can get tickets!!
And, BTW, I almost hate to admit it now, but I'm a ToolArmy member. Being a member in no way, shape, or form guarantees you presale tickets. It's just $40 down the drain for the membership. Dont waste the money unless you need one more place to chat about Tool...

The rumors are true unfortunately....He had a torn bicep i believe and had to get surgery. So bumed out over here. Hopefully he makes a quick recovery and the tour doesnt get to screwed up
Re: 2007/04/21 - Atlantic City, NJ - Boardwalk Hall
Does any one know why ticketmaster isnt selling tool tickets for this date? i heard pre sale was march 2 and sale for public was march 3 and i checked but the show wasnt even on the list. Are they all sold out?
For those interested i looked up some hotels online. for that specific date and i saw a couple palaces offering rooms for under 100 dollars.

I actually heard all the shows after April 10th would still be a go, and the recent dates on toolarmy reflect that...

But...
The original April dates were taking out of the tour section on toolarmy, so they still might be rescheduled.

Re: 2007/04/21 - Atlantic City, NJ - Boardwalk Hall
Anyone else get the feeling they will just cancel all of the shows in the northeast? I mean, they already played Philly twice (Camden and Tower), and Wilkes-Barre. That's three shows in the area. Then they schedule AC, PSU, and Reading. Seems to me if they are going to flat out cancel any shows it would be the ones within 100 miles of Philly. They have not played entire regions of the country, and have played around here three times already, so I don't see it being a priority.
