For a little time now, I've been looking to the "timing" of several tool songs and I was quite happy to find that VT could be used in other albums too.

VTs biggest highlight --> 3:23 the beginning of "THE voice"

In Pushit (live) --> 3:23 the tabla solo starts, it makes such a great transition.

I always podered why does the band "claps" at the end of the song...
Well it seems like the "timing" was important, because if you loop VT through Pushit (live) it won'T synch only at 3:23 but at multiple places.

I'll let you try it and digest it before going on......

Ticks & Leeches was written from some drumming Danny came with in Opiate times, and No Quarter was played around that times too. Don't see why they couldn't have viginti tres since.

I heard this one but don't think it's the point of VT.

I read that disposition+reflection+triad = 23 mins, but that's not an exact time. But i think Viginti Tres does have something to do with those, or maybe just reflection and triad, cause reflection =track 11 : 1+1=2 and triad=track 12 = 1+2=3. Maybe that silence after triad, don't know. maybe expanding viginti tres so it's all over both songs... etc...

I believe that there are no absolute best song to synch with VT.

But it's use is undisputable, it can synch with other songs with particular accuracy,
But if you want to find an answer out of this, you need to think larger...

All the band wants from all those years, is to unite us.

Not only unite as humans, but unite the band with the fans.

I aslo have my theory about Pushit being simply about Maynard's relation with us.
But I'll post about that in the correct section at another time.
