I asked at the Record Exchange in Winston and Greensboro. Nothing doing.
Best Buy opens at 10am.

actuallllly i verified my conjecture and the wakeforest walmart says at midnight they will let me buy it.

Also, I remember that Schoolkids Records on Hillsborough Street had a midnight release for Lateralus. I'm not sure if they're doing it now though.

I'm not gonna get it at Wal-Mart because I don't trust an employee who claims it hasn't been censored. I have called the Wake Forest Wal-Mart before to check stock on an item - dude says they have it, then I make the trip up there and then they don't.
Best Buy will have it for $9.99, which is a pretty good deal.
