I live up in Cypress and to the best of my knowledge, I haven't heard wind of any place around town that's having midnight sales.

Haha no, don't count on Walmart. I actually asked them today just to see what they would say, and the near me said that they didn't even see it on the arrivals list.

thats when you mug someone, take their walmart cult uniform and just go in the back and find it yourself.

Your in cypress i feel your walmart will be better stocked with things like rock music. mine... rap music. lots of it. and some tejano.

I called a local Soundwaves (www.soundwaves.com) Since i figured they were the closest things to a tower record, but they just basically told me it was available on May 2nd....


closest tower records is in Dallas......if you leave now....you might make it haha..

I know that pisses me off...Tejano... We do have a decent collection of edited rock though. I'm just going to go to Target in the morning, since that's the closest place to me I know is selling it unedited (should there be an alternate version).

I dont like soundwaves at all. Every single time I've been there they never have anything.

I went all through Montrose on Westheimer today and found nothing but a Sony label guy putting up posters and he gave me one and a sticker for my car.

Both wouldnt sell it till tomorrow. Allmusic on West Gray didnt have it yet or he would have. That's where I am going tomorrow.

I went in to Target last Monday and told the guy behind the electronics counter that I was "going out of town" that night, and asked if he could go grab me Godsmack's album from the back (it came out last Tuesday). It worked that time, but I didn't have any luck with Tool's today.

Not that I have problem waiting until Tomorrow. I *still* haven't heard anything other than Vicarious.

a place in austin is doing a midnight sale. www.fourtheye.net has a pretty good list of US stores doing midnight sales. I dont know if houston is on there or not.

I used to live in Houston and found this kick ass little record store called DiamondHead. The guy use to sell really great imports and live bootlegs. If it is still open I could see this guy being open for a midnight sale. It was way up on I-45, I want to say it was on Lorena or something like that. May be in the phone book.

lorena is near waco on I-35. I love waterloo's in austin and Bills in dallas. Both badass record stores with live, vinyl, rare stuff. I love record stores like that oh and disc daddys in waco.

My bad. The street name I want to say is Lorena or something like that. Found it! The name is Louetta Rd(thanks mapquest). There is E. Louetta and Louetta Rd. It is on Louetta Rd in a small shopping center on right hand side.
