What are the chances of some non festival dates around the two festivals in the north east? I feel like these festivals make a deal with TOOL management to not announce any non festival dates until the festivals have been on sale for certain amount of time or sold certain amount of tickets. Or reached certain revenue number.

I am considering the Governor's Ball date, but agree would much rather have some non-festival dates. Tool is great, but I am pretty much done with them at festivals unless there are just no other options.
Who else is in for APC at either the Hollywood Bowl or The Pearl? I'll be at all 3 of those.

I will be going to the APC Hollywood Bowl show. Never been to that venue and it's one of the last dates or the last date. So they will have all the songs on point and hopefully they play a new song or two. Junior you lighten up the APC shows?
Somebody bumped the Cinquenta shows thread and just reading the reviews brought back great memories from both of those shows. I was lucky enough to see both shows. That 3 band format was so different and worked so amazingly well. Also cool to see a show at the famous LA Greek Theater. My high radio station class that I did got me into APC because my teacher wouldn't allow Tool on the playlist. Also I was a good Mormon kid that didn't even listen to Tool because of course they worshiped the devil, so I was told. The Hollow and 3 Libras were the only songs allowed to play and then I was hooksd. So I will see APC anytime time that's possible. Very stoked and my friend from Utah is coming out as well.

What shows/bands/productions/etc. have you been working with since the last tool mini tour?
Duran Duran is playing just down the street from my house in April, didn't you do the lights for them a couple years back?

I wouldn't be surprised if there's was some agreement to delay anouncing Tool shows to give APC a chance to sell more tickets. The folks who manage these tours are paid to think about such things. Tool will easily sell all available tickets for their shows, of course.

Re: General Tool Discussion
I wouldn't be surprised if there's was some agreement to delay anouncing Tool shows to give APC a chance to sell more tickets. The folks who manage these tours are paid to think about such things. Tool will easily sell all available tickets for their shows, of course.

I only do Duran Duran when their British LD (Vince) isn't available, and for the past few years he's been... available. I did a lot of shows with them from 2008-2011, but none since 2014.
This past year has mostly been filled with TV work. I spent 8 months as the programmer/operator on a talk show called "Chelsea", a couple of months on "Live with YouTube Gaming", and filling in on shows ranging from "The Voice" to "The Bachelor". Just a few weeks ago I worked on 8 episodes of "The Robert Irvine Show".
Last spring I was the programmer/operator for the Tesla III live reveal webcast, for a couple of episodes of "Scandal" and a few episodes of "Mutt & Suff", as well as some other ones I can't remember.

Can you settle a bet I have with my friends (who are all big fans of CH) she sports an impressive array of classic concert shirts. The Kinks Low Budget and Rush Moving Pictures come to mind, do you think she listens to those bands or just the fashion of the concert shirts. No judgment.

She has so many of those. I think they are repro's, though. I think I heard her mention the company/person that makes them, once.
She's about 5 years younger than me, and she's from New Jersey, so "rock chick" is a good possibility. I don't have a definitive answer on that (yet).

Co man thanks! Its funny, in our discussion my friends are divided around gender lines. Dudes want to believe, females are more cynical.
One thing we have in common, we all collect concert shirts to some degree.

Totally. Passion for a band is one thing, but swag? We're all aboard for that.
Third night for APC @The Pearl announced. I'd do it, but man not sure about 3 straight days in Vegas.

"Tool webmaster Blair has revealed that it finally seems to be happening - Maynard is working on vocals for the new Tool album.
As you may or may not know, the way Tool operates is that the instrumental section first works on music, only for Maynard to then step in with the lyrics."

I'd like to be the first gossipy whore to comment and speculate as to why Maynard just had to have them move their shit across town... he can't stand Jones. Anyway, theoretically this could be pleasing news.

If was was to have a positive attitude and throw a guess out there. By moving to "new" space blair is probably just being intentionally vague about them moving into a studio.

What would them moving across town have anything to do with Maynard and Adam's relationship?
