Hey guys. Recently bought my first acoustic kit (5 days ago to be exact), and im fukin loving it. Played a cheap ass, shitty electric for about 6 months, sold it about 10 months ago and now just decided to get back into it. Boy am i glad i did, and am i glad i decided to go acoustic. Elctric just DOES NOT COMPARE, im sorry, the feel of real drum heads, fealing actual sound from the drums vibrate through your body and sticks, I made a HUGE mistake getting an electric first. I even find it easier to play on an acoustic coming from an electric first, its fukin amazing. Now my question is, for all the drummers out there, have you got any links to pages offering free lessons or even video lessons? Ive found a few pages offering rudiments and paradiddles, but what im really looking for is some decent lessons on 4-way co-ordination. I feel like if i get this down my drummings going to open up rediculously. At the moment, i can pretty much drum the drum rythm of any tool song with two hands, which means i understand the rythms and time sigs, i just lack the 4 way co-ordination to do it on drums, so this is the area i really want ot focus on (apart from the obvious rudiments n watnot). Any advice or healp would be GREATLY appreciated.

i can't offer you any help but i must agree with you on your choice for acoustic drums and that electronic drum sets can really help your skills.

I'm sure you can find some stuff on amazon.com for 20-50 bucks. Or make up your own excersises.

Good luck.

This has been pretty useful for me. Has all the rudiments too, if you need em.
