Well this thread's pretty much dead, but I also managed to get a ticket (probably a result of my school's high powered, if terribly expensive, internet connection).

I know it's a shitty seat, but I was just happy to get one.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone is going to be near there?
None of my friends got tickets. I feel kinda bad but Tool is just too important to me, I had to go off on my own and depend on my school and some serious luck to pull me through.

Thanks to a certain person(i love you man!) on these forums I was able to get 1 ticket for myself. I'll be going by myself, which I really didnt want to do but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. This is Tool and my first time ever seeing them. I'm all up for having some people meet up before the concert and discuss the new album, maybe do a little mischevious deeds before we go in, who knows?!?

I paid $170 for this thing and the transaction went through fine and I recieved the ticket through e-mail. I got Balc LC Row V seat 107 which is a seat that exists so that seems legit. (i immediately was thinking maybe he faked a ticket that doesn't exist...) Does anybody know if there are identifying factors on the ticket that could prove if its real? Like some kind of show PIN number? I see a bunch of numbers but don't know what they mean. Help much appreciated
MJR, if it's a ticketmaster ticket I'd call them and ask to verify a ticket purchased through a broker. It could be he's selling multiple copies or something - if so, you'd better hope you're the first copy through the door or it won't scan.
I'm still kinda worried but he sent me this which is vauge but reassuring...

I took the phone # out but yeah. I guess I have no way of confirming he didn't sell it multiple times but it seems like he didn't. He doesn't seem like a normal ticket broker though, although his supposed past ebay account had a lot of sells with all positive feedback. I only saw this seat on ebay once so unless he sold it elsewhere I hope I'm all set. If I go to orpheum and am for some reason denied at the door you will all be able to spot me being the 18 year old alone banging my head against the closest wall.

the good thing about the orpheum is that its like 100 yards from the boston common. if you've never been on the common its fuckin huge, so you have plenty of places to burn.

I'll be in my toolarmy shirt. I've never been to the common to smoke and I live in a suburb where the cops have nothing better to do than bust people for pot. Is it really as easy as just lighting up right out in the open? I'm sure I'll see people so it won't really be a problem...
