anybody got any leads on tickets? some guy said he already got some for the boston show. i live right near this venue so its gonna suck if i dont end up going. hopefully they'll give toolarmy people a pre-sale.
Will ticketmaster sell these tickets saturday online? I'm thinking about flying to this show or the Vegas show depending on which one I can get tickets too. Maybe even the Kansas City show as a last resort.

I may be flying up to Chicago that weekend, so I may be able to go to this show. I'm going to try to get some friends to get some tickets. This will be so intense
Based on the venue and the costs of other shows I would guess that tickets are gonna be $50-$65 each. As I stated in another thread (before it was deleted) I think midwestern TDN's should band together and buy as many tickets as possible to this show and sell (at face value) any unused or extras to fellow fans here on the boards. I'm going to try and purchase as many as I can saturday morning, all and any tickets above the 2 that I'll be using will be made available for sale on here. I hope others will do the same so we can keep as many fans in and keep the scalpers out.
I'm going to call them tomorrow to make sure they're going to sell the tickets from the boxoffice (per mike tyson's heads up) and post here letting you guys know.
Anyone else gonna be there the minute they go on sale? I'm already making plans for Saturday.
hey Ocelot199. so when it says that the tickets go onsale at 11am 04/22 does that mean they go onsale at the box office and online or just one or the other? i've actually never gotten tickets from a box office so yeah. lemme know. because if the best way to go about getting tickets is to go to the venue i'll be there. and yeah, ive been there for a dylan show. its a pretty nice place if you have decent seats.

I'm pretty sure they go on sale at the same time at both the box office and ticketmaster. I'm gonna call this place tomorrow to see what their hours are and how much the tickets are (and all that stuff). I'll post here to let you know tomorrow sometime.

i am extremely excited to catch this show... i've never caught tool live via smaller than arena sized venue and it is a must. i will be really disappointed if tickets are really that hard to get ahold of. anyone have a venue size? please if it comes down to extra tickets i will possibly have some and would also appreciate anyone who has extras helping me out if for any reason they are sold out at the turn of 11am central time.
Thanks for the heads up Ocelot...I'm interested to see just how much they'll be. The last time I was in Chicago I think I may have accidently come across this Theatre while traveling down Michigan Ave. near Grant/Mill. Park. I've only been to Chicago a hand full of times, can anyone tell me if this sounds correct and has anyone seen any shows there before?
it doesnt matter how much tickets cost when it comes to seeing tool. hopefully i can score a ticket for me and my buddy. ill be going through ticketmaster.com since im a couple hours away. i cant believe they arent having presales for toolarmy...
I just realized that I've actually been to this theatre before, just a month ago for a Colombia College performance. It is an amazing theatre, the acoustics are probably the best I've ever heard.
The place is kind of small though compared to big arenas...tickets will go fast for sure. (Keeps fingers crossed)
i just walked down to the venue and talked to the ticket booth guy and he suggested waiting in line. he said that usually they start selling them just a couple of seconds earlier and that there computers always run at the same speed.
What time do you th9ink I need to get in line at the box office to GUARANTEE tickets? I saw the last small venue Chicago show at the RIV and will not miss this one. Any help? Last time I paid dearly.

Call the office, etc, get there early. Camp out there if you need to. I might be taking the earliest train downtown, then waiting indefinetly.

I might just camp out. If not it may be a 6am morning. I wonder how fast t-master will sell, as opposed to the box office. I'd hate to think of being 7th in line and getting shafted out of tickets because of online sales.
A lot of other people from other shows are trying to get as many tickets as possible, and then distributing the rest to the people who don't get any, so we don't have to deal with scalpers. Anyone else interested?
I am going to try to buy two tickets from a Ticketmaster booth in FL, and I am having a friend from Chicago attempt Ticketmaster online. I'll try to see if I can get my older brother to get some as well.
If luck is on our side, I am willing to help out those in need. And if not, I wouldn't mind being helped out as well ;)...
Discuss.
(I live in Florida, but I will be in Chicago that weekend. I am up for mailing tickets and using Paypal, etc)

I am in total agreement. I will try to get as many as I can also and post with extra. The cool thing about the last show at the Riviera was that all people were the die hard fans. No bullshit punks. If I get extra, I'll post on Monday---Good Luck
Hey guys! I'll be glued to the computer saturday hoping to get them. I saw their last 2 shows here but me and my buds never got a hold of the RIV tickets. So this time i wanna see them in a small venue. Im up for available tickets too like people posted eariler, i think its a good idea. I know the feeling of wanting die hard tool fans only to be at this show. There are a couple people i know that are talking about going but i know to them it'll be like seeing blink 182 or some crap like that. So im not even getting hooked up with them. I would rather see them sleep in (oops i forgot to call ya LOL)and someone deserving on here getting them. BTW, i emailed q101 about a ticket limit and they dont know, said to look on ticketmaster. Not there though. Does anyone know if there is a limit?
I read that it was 8, but at $67 each I'd be surprised if many people were looking for that many. As for buying as many possible for sale on the board...I couldn't agree more. I'm gonna try and get as many as posssible to help those who can't get tickets, I just hope others do the same.
I called the venue a few hours ago, but they have extremely shitty hours, so no one answered. I got to talk to an annoying recording instead... It said that usually their box office isn't open on Saturdays, unless theres a special event. They also don't have Tool listed either on their webcalendar or on their automated system.
I'll call again tomorrow to see if I can actually talk to a person.
anyone know if tool army gets a presale on this? if so it is worth joining to me... if you can confirm please do so, i too plan to buy as many tickets as possible and sell them on the board after my friends have a chance.

No, they don't. Not for this part of the tour, anyway.
I'm going to try hard to get some online, but if I can't, I will be looking to buy 3 from whoever got extra, I'm 7+ hours away and can't afford to drive up to wait in line this weekend.

Ocelot, I saw Tool listed on their website, if that's what you're talking about.
