If anyone has any extra tickets to this show i will pay $100-$200 a piece depending on how much you would like to help out a fellow tool fan. I have never seen them live and would like to avoid the ebay scalping crew.
PM me please

Woah, nice seats guys! I think I literally got the last two seats together. I was the very last 2 seats at the very top right corner of the seating chart, top balcony, haha... but since it's a small venue it still looks like a good view. Man this is gonna rule...
looks decent in the pic, might a well buy binoculars if i want detail tho. either way, i'm psyched to be headin up there. haven't decided on whether i should take the day off or just zip up there straight after work.
ahhhh, meep ;)

Everyone with tickets should relax and know that you are in for a treat no matter where you are sitting. I have seen many shows in the Paramount including Tool (twice). Almost any seat is great (the third mezzanine starts to feel a little far away towards the back however). But the main thing about the theater is that the sound is unreal! I have seen Tool in a small club, a small arena, a big arena, a super dome and an outdoor ampatheater, but nothing compares to the sound in an opera house: crystal clear and perfect; better than the albums. Main floor seats are amazing, but an advantage of being far from the stage (mezzanine seats) is that you get to take in the beauty of the theater itself, which just adds to the incredible visual display. I scored second mezzanine, front row. I have not listened to the leak, and I cannot believe that I get to see Tool at the fucking Paramount the day the album comes out. Amazing!

I have two pit tickets for Ozzfest at the White River Amphitheatre, and will trade them for two Tool tickets for the Seattle Paramount Show on May 2nd. PM me or email me at [email protected]

Awesome!! Great to hear that the sound is so rad... that's great that you got tickets again too. You just got me even more stoked for this show.
So, I will have the day of the 2nd in Seattle... my hotel is downtown. Anything I should check out? Know of any cool record stores?
Which hotel you book? Prob should check out the space needle and such. Pike Place Market (I think thats what its called) is down there.... Probably some other attractions too.

Yeah my hotel is the Space Needle Travelodge. Apprently Pike Plaace Market is really close... but what is that?
Edit: Okay I found the website for it... looks pretty cool...

Go up to Capital Hill. There's an incredible record store up there. Better than any record store I've even been to in NYC. I forget the name, but if you walk along Broadway, there's only 2 record stores that I know of, and one of them is GRUV, and it's MOST DEFINITELY NOT that one! You won't regret it.
If anyone has an extra ticket, you will be making a very sad TooL fan very happy. I will pay you whatever you paid for it, plus I will give you anything off my website up to $800 value. I'm a glass and metal artist, and when I become famous, that piece will be worth MUCH more than any amount of money you could get for your ticket on eBay. Not to mention, you'll know that your ticket is going to someone who would really appreciate it. If I don't see TooL at the Paramount, then the Terrorists truly have won :(

Preface: I have not listened to the leak. That said: I am tempted to not listen to the album on the 2nd and experience it with virgin ears at the show that night in Seattle. What do you guys think? Silly idea or not? The first time I ever saw Tool, they were opening up for Henry Rollins at the Melody Ballroom in Portland, OR in like '92 or something. I knew of them at the time but had never heard their music and they fucking floored me! I was a convert before they even finished Intolerance (the song they opened the show with). I will never forget that show. I kinda want to have that "touched for the very first time" experience again. They are coming back in the fall, so I could have could have a totally different live experience then because I will be schooled in the new album by that time. What do you guys think? Anyone else thinking the same thing? It might be fun. I keep going back and forth on this...

Oh yeah, by the way...Six Arms on Pike Street before the show! A short three block walk from the Paramount. Great beer. Good times. Can't wait.

Magnolia...I think I'll be sitting right next to you. Back row seat 10. Doesn't look as bad as I thought though, so it should be amazing!! See you all there. Can't wait!

I think you're thinking of Everyday Music. Yes, that is a great record store. I'm applying there. Should be great.
Check out Wall of Sound on Pine St. (3-4 blocks east of the Paramount). It is small, but really tastey.
