It is definately the following:

I'm positive of this, but you can barely hear him say "if" almost silent. It makes perfect sense though.

I also do not think it's "jambi eyes", I looked up the pronunciation and it sounds like jahm-bee. I do agree that he says 3 things though, but I cannot tell which is when. The 2nd one definately starts with a J but "jam my eyes" just sounds wierd.

Wow... seems like I'm slipping into a dream within a dream... For a message board dedicated to such a mind expanding band like Tool (actually they are THE mind expanding band) there is so much flaming and closed minded responses that im particularly disgusted. Many claim they hear a distinct J at the beginning. And that is very well possible.
Look at "Drum on grave and ground" in Vicarious.

Sounds like "J-rum on grave and ground"? Are we going to think this is another word creation and analyze it? Dont think so. The D gets splatted and comes across as a J.

Same for the Ts by the way. Listen to "tears of indigo" in The Pot. Sounds like "CHears of indigo". Same deal here. The T is splatted and becomes a CH.

the song is about choosing to love another instead of living a life of decadence.
dim my eyes- or let me die makes much more sense than
jambi eye given the meaning of the song.

I don't mean "my I's" as in "my eyes" - I mean "my I's" as in my self centered, self focused, self serving intentions.

The 3 times he says "Damn" do actually sound like "Damn, Jam, Dim", but I still think they're all "damn".

In the first line of The Pot there's no "d" sound on "out of your heaD" but you still know he is saying that because of the context of that word in the scentence. I think the many interpretations of the "damn" line are due to the ambiguous nature of this verse.
