Same here. Been a long time since I did it but pre-ordered.
New song is really good. Maynard singing more like he does with APC - no surprise there. Danny and Justin are standouts. Has a bit of a combo Reflection/Wings vibe to it but it's not an especially heavy track. For a 10+ min song it seems to breeze by quickly.

Not sure about that. Physical copies of any music these days, especially non-vinyl, is not really in demand. I doubt all that many copies were made. That said, it's probably a whole helluva lot more than most artists have sold in recent years. I'm impressed.

Trust me Amazon doesnt handle stuff at their locations in small quantities. I'm guessing at least 20k of them were sold by Amazon alone.
But that's just an educated guess.

Yea, actually I was going to guess a total of 50k copies overall were distributed with Amazon getting half. I don't think of 50k as all that much, but in today's climate, it probably is.
Wish they'd hurry up with tour dates. I travel a lot for work nowadays, so may be able to fit a show or two in beyond CA/NV if I get enough notice.

Yea, actually I was going to guess a total of 50k copies overall were distributed with Amazon getting half. I don't think of 50k as all that much, but in today's climate, it probably is.
Wish they'd hurry up with tour dates. I travel a lot for work nowadays, so may be able to fit a show or two in beyond CA/NV if I get enough notice. |
