Yeah Rhap, I was just thinking the same thing. Though I suspect there will be another leg of this tour.

I hope you're right, but I thought I read that they are going to tour thru early '08, which would probably leave out any chance of another show.

Let's hope.
You know I walked away from the Summerfest show a little disappointed that we didn't get Ænima...I probably wouldn't have cared so much if they didn't go out of their way to give it to Bonnaroo. They played Summerfest on the 4th of July, yet treated it like any other show. And now to read that Mansfield got Pushit AND Flood???? What's up with that!

Yeah, I don't know. I think the one thing that Tool does is to do the opposite of what they feel is expected of them. Everyone thought Summerfest would be different/special but got a standard setlist. Then everyone thought that the rest of this leg of the tour would be the usual setlist with Flood/Right In Two/ The Pot being rotated but instead got a cover song ("Some Days It's Dark") and a show with "Flood" AND "Pushit". Expect the unexpected, I suppose. Who knows, maybe they'll bust out "Ticks & Leeches" in Maine tonight...nah.

It will be interesting to see what the setlist is for Maine. It seems like anything less than both of those songs will be a major disappointment.

Yeah, you're right about that. I remember back in '02 I saw them in Chicago and Milwaukee...good setlist, but the same for both shows. When I found out they were playing in Indy I decided to get a ticket. Never in a million years did I expect them to throw Third Eye into the setlist....that was awesome!

Yeah, looking back at it, getting everything off of "Lateralus" (minus "Ticks..." and "EBA/ The Patient") plus "Cold & Ugly", "H." AND "Third Eye" would be the ultimate show in my opinion. For those that were there it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Look at the paragraph titled: "Do you still practice?" It's toward the end of the interview. This still doesn't necessarily elaborate how the long the tour will go on but there is a mention of playing older material that they haven't played in a while. Interesting.

Bands like like Deftones that have shorter songs can definately play 20 songs in 2 hours but Tool has way longer songs so there is no way we would ever get 20 songs. That would be like a 4 hour concert. I personally dont care how many songs they play as long as I get to see them play.

I am currently listening to Krock 92.3 on the internet and Justin is doing the radio show before their show tonight and he said that Tool will back in states in a few months. Fuck yeah!

Yep, and there's the NYC two nighter and probably a thorough run through of the Pacific Northwest.

That would be so awesome.
BTW, that article in bassplayer was a great read. Thanks for posting it.

Probably will still be the same setlist as this last leg because afew places have not gotten to see Wings yet. This last leg was mostly concentrated in east and southeast with a few dates in the west. This next leg will probably hit places like The northwest, Alaska and Hawaii and other cities along the way. I can't wait to see Wings and Right in two.

That's right, Seattle (and the northwest) haven't gotten "Wings" yet. I would imagine you'll get the mainstays, "Stinkfist", "46&2", "Schism", "Wings", "Lateralus" and "Vicarious". I also think that there will be another song off of "Lateralus" as well, maybe "Parabola"? And hopefully the full length "Intension".

Yeah Parabola would be awesome. So would the Grudge. I am really hoping for Right in Two.

I like "Right In Two" as well. It's really subtle at first but then blows you away. It would be more impressive played directly after a full version of "Intension".
I'm really feeling another "Lateralus" song as I've mentioned. It could be "The Patient" again but I don't think so. "The Grudge" and "Ticks & Leeches" are unlikely simply due to the vocal strain on Maynard. "Disposition/Reflection" seems unlikely as well due to the length of the songs. "Triad" may be possible, it's not strenuous on Maynard's voice and it gives the opening band the opportunity to jam with Danny. Even so, "Parabola" seems most likely because it's a single and it can be played with or without "Parabol" depending on time constraints.

Tool loves Boston! Good god almighty, the Mansfield show was the show of the 10000 Days tour so far. What a freakin performance. Listening to the boot right now!

That's very coincidental, I'm listening to "Schism" from that show right now, working my way to "Pushit".

No shit! I'm on Schism right now. Danny is out of control. The skins are about the crack! He took it too another level for this show. I didn't think they could top the two shows I saw in San Diego but goddamn! Maynard use to live in Boston and worked at a few pet shops in the area!

I'm still processing this show. Funny though, I think they were only going to play Flood but Adam definitely called an audible and went to Danny and Maynard and they had a discussion and I think they added Pushit on the fly. The crowd was delirious, sold out at 19k for the second time in less than a year and I think they wanted to reward us.

Anyone know the name of the shirt where on the back there is the fetus inside the skull?
They were out of them when I tried to get one after the show and I'm trying to sift through all the shit on ebay, but there are like 800 shirts listed.
Nah its not that one, although it is cool
Its just a single skull with a single fetus in it...it's colored yellow around the black shirt.

It's like the Bardo one, but just with the skull and fetus, no designs.

im listening to a live audio from this tour and i just want to say theres no other band that can bring shivers and watery eyes and a feeling of uplifting like tool does.
