The shattered hallway of broken glass
Darkens in the failing twilight,
Leaving obscure images scattered about the ground.
Shadows portraying events of history, current, and potential.
They all merge into one silhouetted pane
That dances hither, thither, and yon on the cobblestone walkway.
Golden eyes pulsate in godhead sockets.
Every atom’s rhythm in time with its own.
In the void of its orbs, all is romanticized, desolate, and optimistic.
