The crux of it was about his criticism, I only added in the fisherman shit because I noticed it was his and was posted fairly recently, and as it stood, what I had so far ended rather anti-climatically.

(b) I'm saying if he is going to post in response to another's work which he isn't fond of, saying, "learn to spell", it's best not to say anything at all if you're not willing to help. Dude ended up editing his poem out because of it. I don't care if he's 18 or 68, if he can give and choose to make such an offhand comment to somebody's work who fuck knows could have spent a day writing it, he can take such a comment himself, or start learning to.
I misread you. However, I haven't observed catty one-liners to be his usual m.o. And I absolutely give a little more allowance for age, particularly when someone's (allegedly) half mine.
