I have no idea really when I'll be anywhere, but I'll be wearing a black shirt with white sleeves that says, "Think, it's not illegal yet." Anyone who happens to see me and gives a shit, feel free to say hello, or buy me a beer, or drive me to the arena, or give me a free ticket, or explain to me what Abstraction is, or anything else. I'm very approachable.
Abstraction is just a local Industrial / Metal night... alot of my friends are going to the Tool show and then swinging by Abstraction at 11:30 or so to meet up... they said that I should drop a mention on the Tool message boards and that sounded like a cool idea... I figured that I'd offer 2 for 1 entry at the door with a ticket stub too... the normal cover is 7 bucks, so that's not going to exactly break the bank either...
Come down if you are in the area! Or message me for more info =)
I just want to make my trip back to the city safe and cheap it could be... :P. Since I dont know that much of the location and also I want to know the easy way back since I'll be going to the Iron Maiden show on the 12th also :P
For an alternative to hempstead, from Penn take the "Babylon" line to Merrick. No change at Jamaica. Merrick is just a few minutes south of the Coliseum, and there are usually always cabs in the parking lot there. It would be about a 10 minute cab ride, so it shouldnt cost too much. But I would call the Merrick cab company before hand. The good thing about going to Merrick is that its directly south of the Coliseum, no transfer at Jamaica, and its one of, if not THE safest towns on Long Island...
oh yea, thats a great point RightInTwo. If you take the direct to Merrick theres no connection and Merrick is safe. Youll have to pay a little more for a cab but I think its worth it.

Thanx for the pointer about the train...I was looking for the safest route to get there...if we meet up in the parking lot I'll be drinking some rum...is not much...but if we meet up =)
Visiting NY for the first time from the Bay Area, CA. CoSM in the day perhaps (unless we do it Friday if we wind up near that area.) There will be 4 of us and would definitely enjoy meeting some people from the east. And shit, fellow TOOL fans in general... I've read a million posts about a meet up and can't really narrow it down. Are there really going to be some fucking balloons or what? hahaha Flags? Fireworks? In all seriousnes, whats up with it?
Saw the mini tour in Oakland at the Paramount, Street Scene in SD (blah!), Oakland Arena, all 2006. This will be #4 (this time around). Full moon (nothing special happening w/ the band at CoSM unfortunately. I would assume Alex will be at the show too), last US show... !!!!

RightInTwo, we're A1 2nd row too--I am so psyched!
Anyone know which way the seat #s go, as in which seats are closest to center stage per section?
I have a question I didn't see in any of the posts. How good would teh view be in side stage seating? I am talking about section 221... is this behind the stage? will you see anything?
click on your section, you can see the view (it's only for the hockey setup but you'll get an idea). Looks like your view is slightly behind the stage but pretty close.
anywho, the center shit, A1, B1, C1 ext...theyre all just folding chairs...we should just remove them and have a GA section since we'll be standing up the entire time already.
PS: Goddamn I hope they change the setlist!

Yo, after Lateralus or when they normally break for an encore everyone start chanting Hooker. I want to see this song so bad live because i heard it one of their best preformances. Maybe if the stadium got loud enough they would do it. I am super cereal about this. Respond if you will do this....

Id rather hear H. but the fact that Hooker with a Penis is so rare I would rather see that. It would also shut up the bitches who complained about the 10,000 Days, mainly my uncle. ALSO I THOUGHT THERE WAS NO OPENER THIS MAKES ME MAD I JUST LOST MY ERECTION!!!!!!
It says 6 on their myspace right now....Maybe well get like a Ticks and LEeches send off like they did for their last opener because ISIS isnt opening for them anymore.
