You're right, Ravi. I'm not so much pissed about the seats but I'd really like to know where these tickets go so quickly. I don't trust these online scalpers and they must have some evil ways of going about getting all these tickets. grrrr.... Good luck everyone!
i was nervous. i was hoping for better seats, but i can't complain - at least i got tickets and i'm not stuck on the lawn. the sad thing is, these 4 tickets cost less than the two i bought for the show at the orpheum (but it was worth it).
congrats you lucky bastard. i myself got section 4 row G, i didn't have the balls to throw those seats back and go for better.
it was the first thing that came up so i grabbed it. i didnt think it would get better. its pretty much the same row i saw them from at the Orpheum except this time, i'll be centered. i'm pumped.

I considered doing that myself but I took what came up. Also, does anyone have an idea how many seats are in a row? I have seats 15 and 16 in sec 4 which should be alright. I'm just alittle concerned that I'll be too far to the side. Don't get me wrong, though, I'm grateful.

Seriously what the fuck is the point of Ticketmaster..I'm so heated right now. First click and I had tickets, I literally JUST SCANNED the seating chart pop up page to see where they were..then clicked to confirm the order..and Ticketmaster FUCKS up and says your order cannot be processed. I refuse to get seats anywhere other than the covered part, because whats the point? The sound is horrible unless your under the pavillion..even then its still not great.
think the chances of getting screwed by ticketmaster are high this time?
Happened to me, so don't get your hopes up. I called the Boston number and bitched the fucking Ticketmaster lady out..of course that didn't do much but make her hang up on me and say "sorry sir"
yes, my friend got tickets for section 7, looks like i'll be selling my section 12 on ebay (don't worry, they will be close to face value), anyone know a good way to do this? maybe better than ebay?
Hetfield--what row do you have? The seats change depending on the row. Some are the 40s, some 50s, and some 60s.
sec 4, row M, seats 15, 16

that doesn't make sense though... when searching for "best available" tix... it should pull the section 4 before 13... right?
what happens is, people that got section 4 decided they wanted to be retarded for a while and give their tickets up...when the tix came up, they became reserved for those 2 minutes and after those 2 minutes are up then they become available again...make sense?

my friend was buying the tickets, at first we got section 12, but ironicly it timed out and she lost the tickets. Went back a second time, and got section 4, row BB, seat 50&51?
Are those seats closer to the center, or closer to the right? (As apposed to sitting in seats 1&2)

it starts with seat one on the outside and moves toward the center... row bb starts with 36-57 so you are close to the center :)

first TOOL show for me, sec 11 row c.
Been to many, many shows in my time, but something tells me I'm in for a treat. I have only been into the band for 2 years or so and i have not been to a concert in quite some time.
Got thoes at 10:02 out of fear that an Orpheum II event would happen and only lawn would be available. After I placed the order I checked for better seats and section 8 opened up. Way near the wall.
Is farther away center better or worse than close and to the side?

So if I'm in row M in sec 4 with seats 15 and 16 thats pretty far to the side, correct? I'm just trying to get a general idea of where I'm at.

wow... i got mine at 10am exactly and the best available were section 15... open air seating. how the hell did you guys get covered seating?
Same shit happened to me, we tried 3 times, but got section 15 as best available. I fuckin HATE ticketmaster and the fuckin assholes that have a connection to get seats early. Those are the bastards that go and buy all the good seats first then sell them for 5x as much.
So what does my pathetic ass do? I went to stub hub and spent $450 on Section 6, row H (not too shabby seats). I never have done that before, but it's my fiance's 30th birthday so I wanted to do it for him too.

yeah it's further to the side.. row m has 52 seats, 52 being the center, so you're closer to the outside unfortunately :\ still pretty sweet though.. i'm in the row behind you seats 27-29 so maybe i'll see ya there!
p.s. turbidblue posted this before.. here is a better seating chart than offered at ticketmaster/livenation where you can see how many seats are per row and etc, take a look!

No matter where anybody has seats, it really doesnt matter. Like said before, security at this venue is the WORST! and I'm viewing it more as a general admission than anything.

really? dont tell me that after everything I spent.
Just an FYI. I saw Nine Inch Nails at the Tweeter last month. We had lawn seats and security came up to us (and everyone else on the lawn) and told us we could go and find empty seats anywhere in the open air seating if we wanted (which would be sections 9 thru 15). I saw Depeche Mode here years ago too and security did the same thing once the show began. Not sure if this show will sell out (many people dislike this venue) but if it doesn't, there's probably a good chance people can move up.
