Picked it up yesterday at Target for $9.99. Ripped it to my hard drive for my iPod. Been listening to it non-stop since yesterday.

I actually downloaded it on Monday night because I thought I would not be able to pick it up for a few days and that was just not OK in my world. Luckily my schedule permitted me to get away for a 1/2 hour and so I bought it yesterday.

On top of that, I refuse to let anyone burn this disk from me. I encourage them to go purchase it as well.

Complex, interesting, intense and distant are my "2 days later" observations so far.

I have multiple copies of multiple Tool albums, including this one. I've been to many shows, I've purchased a bit of merchandise. I'm going to taste some of Maynard's wine my next trip to Aridzona. The only song I illegally downloaded was Vicarious.

I did sell a sealed copy of Salival for a profit though. Not enough to offset the money I've (happily) given the band, but still, thought I'd throw that out there. I'm not Jebus.

Though I downloaded it two weeks prior, I spent my not-so-hard-earned-cash for two copies. One for me, one to bury me with.

Dl'd it on Saturday b/c i'm an impatient fuck and just couldn't wait any longer. Bought it Tuesday on my way home from work. Kinda shitty to say, but Tool and APC are the only bands I'll buy the full CD for these days. THE ALBUM ART ALWAYS KICKS ASS!!! Usually just DL from itunes after I sample songs. The guy at Best Buy said 95% of his customers on Tuesday went there JUST to buy this album. I smiled at him and said you better buy it too. :)

I downloaded. I listened. I liked. I kept listening.

I purchased hard copy. I listened more. Realized how much better record sounded on CD. I ripped to iTunes. I love.

This record gets more fantastic with each listen. To all those who give up on this, DON'T DO IT.

Stay with it, and it will stay with you.

Best $15.92 I've spent in...forever. The artwork alone is worth more than that. Anyone with eyes should buy the album. Anyone with ears should have already bought it.

Bought it at a midnight release party. Didn't download. The only band that I will buy an album cold. Certain that it'll take my wee mind a couple of years to really get it. Cried excessively at Wings/2. Learning, yet again, Tool is best when I can't hear anything else, close my eyes, and focus everything on the music.

Just wanted to let you all know that I kept my promise of support to the band. Bought the album at Target. Excellent packaging, I might add.
