Im driving by myself since my brother cant make it so if anyone needs a ride to-from any of the shows let me know. Im only asking for a little gas money and not to be a psycho.
Saw the show in NYC ... Loved it! My 1st TOOL show. Going to Colorado in 2 weeks to see them at the Amphitheatre. Then back home to NJ to see them at the Continental Arena. Although every song they played is great ... I am a little dissapointed in their set list. I know .. no one wants to hear it. But doesn't everyone want to hear some of their older songs? Opiate, Parabola ... etc., etc. LUV TOOL :)

I'm BEGGING to hear Pushit, and just about everyone seems to want to hear new songs, e.g. Wings/10000 Days. I saw my first 2 Tool shows at the city center back in May, and while the set list has so far stayed pretty much the same, I still can't complain. I'm just happy i'll be able to see them play 4 more times. And maybe since this seems to be the last show of the current tour, maybe they'll go out with a bang.

Is anyone going to this show that isn't an Islander fan or a hockey fan?
If so, eat shit.
Hockey is my official religion. I was an Islanders fan until I was about 8 years old. Then I went from loving Mike Bossy to loving Cam Neely. Then I realized New Jersey had its own team.
Isles still mop up the rangers though.

Well atleast youre not a rangers fan, I can deal with Jersey. I feel bad that you have to see concerts at Continental though which is probably the worst venue for concerts imaginable.

Also traveling to Camden (God help me), Hartford, and Nassau. The East Rutherford show will be my floor experience.

i just got my tix in the mail. Certainly not AS exciting as waiting in line overnight in the rain to get tix to see TOOL at the NYC Center for 2 nites, but exciting nonetheless. Now we wait a month and a half /sigh.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but they won't do ticks and Leeches. It's one of my fav songs too but i heard maynard doesn't like doing that song because he lost his voce for 2 weeks while recording.
They've played it a few times. MJK uses some kind of electronic device to alter his voice. Check youtube for a live video of Ticks & Leeches. I think we all know it's a long shot but we can still hope for it. :)
I have a question.........when I went to the Ticket Master site.........I tried to purchase some tickets and well it said section G2 and there is no section G2 in Nassau Colisuem but there is in Jones Beach Theater
so where it is being held???

Anyone interested in 6 tickets for this show? Got a bunch but am not sure if i can make it. Tiks are in sec 212 row H seats 5-12. Would like to give to fan... let me know.
Anybody going from Manhattan ? I'm flying in from Dominican Republic to see this show and I would like to have some drinks before going...so, if anybody is going from NY...just PM me so we can meet and have a couple of beer's (or Dominican rum ;) )
I just saw on Isis' myspace page that Nassau is now listed as a tour date. Oh wel, no "Exclusive Tool Special" for us. I'm still hoping they go out with a bang. Didn't they play Third Eye the last time they were at NC?
Third Eye was played at Nassau on Halloween. Love that song live - the live version on Salival is killer!
I am holding out hope for a special finale on Oct 7th! I just hope that this illness will not result in the tour being cancelled for the remainder of the dates....

Wanna trade for some tixs at the contenetal airlines arena show in NJ?
@Nachosgrande: Thanks for conforming that. I remember seeing it in concert reviews for the Lateralus Tour.
MJK's illness is really hampering this tour. I thought he was getting better but with tonight's show being canceled, I'm getting worried about our show.
He's got another 2 and a half weeks before they come to NY, so he should be feeling better. My bro was supposed to see em in Wisco. Needless to say, he's pissed.

Is the floor seated or GA? I know the tickets are numbered, but sometimes that is just so they can account for each "seat"/person on the floor. I'm in A1 and would really like to actual get to be in A1. Anybody anybody?
While the last time Tool played nassau coliseum, it was a GA show, the tickets stated "GA". I believe this show is seats on the floor. You should be right front right in Sec A1

Boo.
I mean ISIS is good ,
but i'd love to have that time spent on TOOL playing some more tracks.
Shame.

can anyone tell me how close the long island airport is to the nassau colisseum. i just got a free ticket on southwest and they fly to long island so im thinking of trying to catch the show. i went to the kansas city show and it was fuckin incredible, but im not sure if its going to be reasonable to fly in and take cabs to the arena and a hotel and such, if so can anyone recommend a cheap hotel near either the arena or the airport, i really want to see TOOL again before this tour is over and that weekend is my only chance. also whatsa good place to find a ticket, i know its last minute but there are 100 brokers online selling i just have to pay through the nose, if anyone knows a reputable source id appreciate that info. thanks.
If you fly into Islip/Macarthur Airport it's a little over 30 miles away, it would probably be cheaper to rent a car than pay for a cab. There are a bunch of hotels listed on the Coliseum's site http://nassaucoliseum.com/local.htm
The Marriott, I think, is right in the parking lot of the venue, though. Try craigslist, there are people selling tix there but I don't know if you can trust them. I actually found someone on Ebay to trade with, I traded 2 of my 7th row floor tix for the Red Hot Chili Peppers for A1 2nd Row tix :)
Hi, by the way--long time lurker...my first Tool show too. They've been at the top of my list for a LOOOONG time but this is the first one for me--although I've seen APC twice. (not the same, I know).
