I wonder if anyone has got this?
"10,000 Days" is meant to be experienced like the "Vicarious" video clip. Ever wondered why there was only one video? All you have to do is get the DVD and listen to the album while looking through the 3D glasses. Imagine the whole album as the video. I'll let you figure out the sequence/timing of the cards, nonetheless there are clues to this pretty much all over the artwork ;)
And LISTEN CLOSE! When you get it you'll hear things you never heard before... and ultimately feel 'refreshed' by the experience.

There's also another way to do this, and I know it sounds weird but please give it a try!
Put on headphones, but leave them unplugged(!). Play the album on your loudspeakers. Make sure you are sitting in the centre of the speakers (sweet spot).
Now while it's playing (and with your headphones on) move closer to your speakers until you hear the parts that come in through your headphones.
Voila! The secret is out. Enjoy!
And stay in school ;)

I've experienced that if you put on your headphones and leave it unplugged, as you suggested, that if you bash your head into the nearest wall at exactly 3:33, you will hear ever more things you never heard before...
Plus, if you remain conscious, when you look through the 3d glasses and examine the artwork, you will most definately solve the puzzle as well!

I was in a TOOL cover band called LOOT. It was an undertow era band, and playing guitar for those songs were really fun.
