two voices around the 7:34 mark?

has anyone ever noticed how there are two different voices at the 7:34 part of the song? a friend of mine suggested that it is from maynard singing into two mics at once, though we've only seen pics of that.

Yes, I've noticed this. It sort of sounds like a female.

i always tell my friends there's a woman singing in this song, but they always think i'm crazy and don't hear it. it's definitely there. maybe a vocal effect.

Re: two voices around the 7:34 mark?

its like some kind of weird octave effect, or maybe another band member using falsetto

Yea I always figured it was another band member, but if you listen carefully you can tell it's an effect. It sounds like when you breathe in helium and talk.

Re: two voices around the 7:34 mark?

I believe it's an effect that's pumping out whatever's inputted one octave higher.
