The Southaven show has been rescheduled for May 15th.

This leg of the tour is supposed to be (mostly) about playing cities that weren't on the schedule last time around. Denver got 2 shows in 2006, so this time it's Colorado Springs.

At least the state of Colorado gets 3 shows. I'm still waiting for an Indy or Wisconsin date. Thus far, both states have been given the cold shoulder...the one show that was supposed to take place in Wisconsin got cancelled. At least San Antonio had their show postponed.

I hear ya! It's frustrating. Las Vegas gets 4 shows for this tour while other places get the middle finger. I don't know what makes Vegas so special....and mind you, I'm from Vegas.

No offense, but not many do.
I used to live in Minneapolis in the 90's, so I've seen the roster of acts that pass through ND. I seem to recall a lot of 2nd tier country acts, mostly, and even then it was usually Fargo or Grand Forks (occasionally Minot).
I always got a chuckle out of the tourism slogans for Moorhead, MN (Ahh, Moorhead!), and Minot (Why-not Minot?). Do they still use those?

Wishful thinking? I think so.
i would hope thats the idea

They haven't posted that rescheduled date yet. I'm hoping it will be posted soon though; that's the one I'll probably go to if they aren't going to be in CT :-)

Ya, and when are the Chicago and Indy dates as well? Even before Danny's injury they've been really hush-hush (no pun intended) about dates. Last year I got my tix for the Chicago show in late June or early July for September. Ah well, hopefully when they do come around they shake up the set and give us a taste of some old stuff. Swapping out Forty-Six & 2 for H. would be nice and maybe
Parabol(a) instead of Schism.

HAHA North Dakota needs a hill. And some trees. When tool comes to ND, where are they gonna play? Playmakers/The Venue? umm ... Maybe Fargodome or the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, but those places are lame.
I think the golf bubble would be awesome to see TooL play in. On my birthday. yeah....
*cue dreamy music

Didn't they build the Fargodome in hopes of getting some kind of pro team to play there? Can't remember.
I know they usually scale it down to the size of a normal arena with moveable seating, but I think Garth Brooks played the entire floor once...
Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
I can't stand waiting for the new dates, I need my Northeast date, or evne east coast above the mason dixon. My next show will be the almighty lucky #13!!

i'm not sure what they were thinking when they put a dome in fargo. It's right on the NDSU campus, so the college football team plays there - and i think there were monster trucks there too once. LOL . any musician/band that comes th ND usually plays at playmakers, the sportsbar/dance club.
I doubt tool will ever make it up, at least until the population of the state gets over 200,000.

<------------ And for obvious reasons, I am WAY stoked that they are not playing in Denver again. I saw them here in the Springs at the World Arena in '02, and it was a great show. Not to mention the venue blows the Coors Amphitheaturd (haha I made a funny) out of the water. How can you argue with general admission being in FRONT where it belongs, rather than the cheesy lawn in the rear setup the former Fiddler's Green offers? It should be well worth the drive. Besides, I managed to make my way up north for BOTH shows last year, not to mention any other good show that comes through this state. Denverites (??) should have no problem with only having to travel south every once in a great while for a good show. Besides, FREX is like, 12 bucks.
And by the way, can an admin post a new thread for the Colorado Springs show? I searched up and down with no luck, and would really like to see that go up. Thanks.

So are we to assume that since the B-ham show's onsale date is March 24th that all the postponed shows onsale dates are march 24th?? Just wondering. Because I want a piece of that ATL show too!

I'm really hoping they're able to make it out to SLC/Utah again. I missed them the first time and I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed...though my optimism dwindles with each new batch of dates released.

Toolband.com has 3/24 as the date. So far neither the Kansas Coliseum website nor selectaseat (which handles their ticket sales) nor Ticketbastard shows any confirmation. Just keep a sharp eye and post when any info. becomes available

Re: General Tool tour questions / discussion (merged)
I've got two words for this tour... OLD SCHOOL!!
I'm really hoping to see the guys go back to their roots and play songs like Intolerance, Prison Sex, Undertow, Flood, Cold & Ugly, and more. That would kick ass!
I'm one of the unfortuante SE Americans who haven't seen a single 10,000 Days song live, so of course those songs will be big down here. But it would be great to hear the classics too. I wouldn't mind seeing songs like Stinkfist and Schism fall off the setlist to make way for the older stuff.
If you haven't noticed, go back to the last shows played in February. You will see Wings Pt1 & Pt. 2 in most of the setlists. I think this tour will also showcase those songs most nights.
