as big a fan as i am, i just can't seem to justify droppin $10 for 1 fucking video. it's a waste of digital space, a dvd has anywhere from 4.7 to 17GB. they should release a compilation of ALL their videos, then maybe i'd pay $15-20 for that, but $10 for 1, there better be some good porn filler after the song. and the video link on the official site? what the hell is that all about.. why do i want to look at a thumbnail screenshot? when i first looked at it, i thought, "oh cool, i can watch all there videos here"...... I think that TOOL wants to produce nearly perfect things (at least nearly perfect things for them) and I think they wouldn't be pleased with a live-dvd what has some mistakes which may only they can here. The DVD-singles are just perfect video's qua original style etc. And since Adam is working it ass of (or worked his ass of) for the video, I think its more than obvious that 6/6/06 is the release-date for the Vicarious-video. And 10 dollars is a lot for me too but TOOL pays it back myriad-fold with just their music.

it took 40 years for those zeppelin live dvds to come out after they were filmed. we might have to wait 35 more years.

Yeah, I guess I've become just another grumpy ass around here...
I just can't see why (other than something about wanting my fat ass dirty dollar) Tool would put out all of these video singles that serve very little purpose and waste a lot of space, as beligerentfokker so affluently stated ( =P )
Anyway, I'll stop being so beligerant myself and will let those who are actually looking forward to the DVD single enjoy their excitement as they are so entitled, pervading with my angry ranting no more.
