This is a rearrangement of Lateralus and 10,000 Days. Normally I just listen to the albums straight through but something about this new release possessed me to start rearranging all their albums. This is the first rearrangement and I plan to integrate their other albums. Welcomed are your opinions.
CD 1
01 Vicarious
02 The Grudge
03 Jambi
04 Mantra
05 Schism
06 Intension
07 Right In Two
08 Reflection
09 Triad (I trimmed the 2 min. silence at the end)
10 Eon Blue Apocalypse
11 The Patient
CD 2
01 Disposition
02 Ticks & Leeches (I faded in the beginning because it was a little to abrupt but now it sounds good similar to how Disposition and Reflection went together)
03 The Pot
04 Viginti Tres
05 Lost Keys (Blame Hofmann)
06 Rosetta Stoned
07 Lipan Conjuring
08 Parabol
09 Parabola
10 Lateralus
11 Wings for Marie (Part 1)
12 10,000 Days (Wings Part 2)

That's great that you want to grace us with "soulongod's awesome mix", but why?
Don't claim you have the next best thing to Tool's tracklist without providing any sort of reasoning other than wasting time.

Um, yeah it does. That's why bands take precision in putting their tracks in the right order. Especially bands like Tool who take a message throughout an entire album.

Basing it sound wise, I personally think thats a pretty awesome listing. Lateralus and 10,000 days always seemed nice next to each other with me because of the epic tracks such as Wings 1 and 2 and Lateralus and D/R/T.
Basing it on the whole message, it can sound great at some points and other points such as Disposition and Ticks and Leeches seems abit weird, however soundwise I loved how Disposition and Ticks and Leeches goes with the drums ending in Disposition and starting in Ticks and Leeches.

I don't think AEnima is their best work, I like them all and if you listen to them one after another, the magic happens that each one seems to stand out, compared to the other. I definately disagree though with letting out AEnima on a Tool's best tracks - list.
Edit: Sorry, I didn't see the "other albums" part, Soulongod, I have absolutely no problem with your thread.

I don't seem to follow why people are taking time out to re-arrange everything. Perhaps, just a suggestion, try using the same energy that you're putting into toying with what was claimed as perfection by the band, and perhaps create some music of your own? I don't know, I don't mean to put anybody down but it just really seems like a waste of time.

I know that I shouldn’t waste my time with the naive or ignorant but I enjoy a good bowel movement every now and then, so being reminded of this I have chosen to guide the youngsters, someone has to.
So, as I walked around my apartment half naked and all sexy and exhausted similar to the moments just before you made hot sweaty passionate love with your partner to remind yourself that this world and existent is not complete pain, misery, and sorrow, I, instead of ending my “PRODUCTIVE” day with a climatic end which requires every bit of my final strength, opted to wind down by listening to some music. At my wooden multi-tiered desk not to angler with just enough curves, I settle into my well-cushioned leather desk chair. After placing my AKG 701 headphones (with amp) on, I slid out my keyboard shelf, being a shade of black that adds a beautiful contrast to the wood of the desk, and proceed to start up my audio program. This particular day I choose to listen to my Lateralus and 10,000 Days play list but rather than listening straight through the original order, I decided to choose the next song according to a new and personal story. Therefore, during each song I would arrange the next song to be played according to this new developing story. Feeling that I had created an interesting rearrangement (and possibly maybe a new masterpiece) of Tool’s two most recent albums, I thought, I don’t know, maybe it was a good idea to share this new found masterpiece with the rest of the tool fans. The fans that might be somewhat (and I fear to say this) tired and burned out from listening to their albums straight through; and that have not chosen to listen to them on shuffle. Considering that the shuffle technique for curing the burned out syndrome kind of fucks up the rhythm and flow of a Tool album, especially with 10,000 Days, having many of the tracks coupled. THE END
On a side note, a sample of a story, in which this new arrangement possibly alludes to, is coming soon. (I have had to find the proper time, when it doesn’t interfere with my “PRODUCTIVE” activities to write it.) A story that may create a different approach or angle to TOOL’s wonderful music and in turn create a re-motivation that one can use to take his/her “PRODUCTIVITY” to a great level. Overall, it seems like I am creating and the medium that I choose was Tool’s music.

Anyone have enough time on their hands to try and apply the Fibonnica sequence to their albums? I'm no math major, I'm not sure how you would do this or which album to start with but it does seem like there's some sort of connection between different songs on different albums.

Each of their albums alludes to a story in which invokes a tapestry of emotions consequently causing one to travel through his/her consciousness forming a new direction of motivation. Every input one receives into his/her system is an important one including the pattern of those inputs. Consciously rearranging the songs/inputs maybe as beneficial as eating certain types of food through out the day to maximize nutritional intake. There are plenty of other examples and if interested, I’d be glad to share.
Sincerely,

Preach on almighty, bless the viewers of this thread with your amazing track arrangements. Can you do one for the Spice Girls collection for me? I mean, that would be some powerful, consciousness-expanding shit right there.

To each their own, I'll stick with Tool.
Sincerely,

In the future, I’d suggest if you don’t like something move on, no sense in torturing yourself, unless you feel you deserve it; if need be, in a private message, we can discuss your childhood or/and carry on this conversation.
