well first CIA is a lot bigger than hammersmith and tool are not nine inch nails
secondly this is a presale that from what I can see has had little to no promotion - if i hadnt have looked on toolshed i would have had no idea tickets were on sale
i imagine them to go a lot quicker when people actually know about it
Re: 2006/11/30 - Cardiff, UK - Cardiff International Arena
dude the seats are several miles away from the stage! standing ftw

Re: 2006/11/30 - Cardiff, UK - Cardiff International Arena
yeah i saw the prodigy there last year (don't laugh it was bloody good!) and the venue was a lot better than i'd expected. needs more bars though.
changing the subject a bit, anyone got any educated guesses as to how the length of the set will compare to that of spring tour? i personally thought 1 hr 20 or whatever the hammersmith show ended up being was a bit of a piss take (and coming out an hour late sans support!). there's messing with your fans... and there's insulting your fans. still, it was a good show and i eagerly await november 30! :D

Re: 2006/11/30 - Cardiff, UK - Cardiff International Arena
I'll be there.
Can't wait. As great as the Hammersmith gigs were, it was a bit of a drag travelling down there mid-week. I won't even need to take a day of work for this gig! - well, maybe the next day due to a hangover ;-)
I've seen loads of gigs in the CIA, it's a great arena, I really can't wait for this concert.

Got two tickets last night one for me and one for my girlfriend, who then decided she wasn't prepared to spend £30 to see TOOL! Got to find someone else to go with now, but I'm sure it won't be a particularly difficult search! I hope they do a longer show than the ones they've been doing recently, I would love to see '10,000 Days', 'Third Eye', 'Pushit' or 'D/R/T' live.
Anyway see you there!!

Dunno the capacity but i saw slipknot, american head chanrge and In Flames there about 4 years ago and the place ROCKED :) not too big for Tool, should be amazing :)

Got 2 Standing , saw audioslave at the CIA last year , sound system was brilliant and standing is the best option , as all those seated looked like they were having a crap time whereas the standing section were having an excellent time .
Re: 2006/11/30 - Cardiff, UK - Cardiff International Arena

Where'd everyone who's already got their tickets get them from? Mine are taking fucking ages... or i'm just impatient. I think gwar should support, mainly because the tickets were dangerously close to £40 and i like gwar
