this is the last album tool has to make for volcano. they waited their contract out.
The deal was a min of three albums in what was it 10 years?
hmm makes me wonder if the leak to came from maynards ipod?
anyone eles look into the legal side of tool?
oh and why are the saying that they dont know if they are going to finnish to tour?
danny said "If all goes well on the eruo tour". they would return for a bigger north american tour.
is maynard going to loose his voice? Adams not just a guitarist you know, he has another love.
now bash away.

yes and finnally when up adam will be able to do more than his 10 pattern limit to song riffs embargo is lifted, so he can make something that sounds nothing like TOOL, so in turn they will be TOOL again!

lol, no actually when they had their contractual issues with Volcano immediately after the release of Aenima, they renegotiated a deal for 3 more albums. Lateralus would be #1, 10,000 Days would be #2.

I don't know...you may be right but, it wasn't even new material other than Merkaba, the rest was just a compilation of previously unreleased tracks and live recordings. Does that count as a record in a record deal???

Gee, isn't that a tad cynical for the "goody two shoes" that got so upset and felt the need to act as if he/she were the mother of everybody on the forum that had listened to the leaked album? Perhaps you just haven't realized it yet...NOBODY LIKES A NARC....go bake some cookies in your Betty Homemaker apron.

but regard what i read from toolarmy via distortiononline.com:
- Maynard had this to say about the ticket situation for the mini-tour:
"Many people are complaining about the sold out shows. Relax. Were doing a full on tour at the end of the summer which goes almost everywhere. And in the new year, well go almost everywhere else. These are just a hand full of warm up dates. Theres nothing much we can do to out wit the scalpers. If you have the patience, just dont buy the tickets from them. Just wait until August. Screw them. Believe me, if I could design a virus that would leave scalpers totally impotent, mute, and penniless I would. Same goes for lawyers. (I have a whole different virus in mind for mini vans. More on that later.)"
so "chillax" kids, and stop jumping to conclusions...

Hell no!!!!! Have you ever saw them live?! I'm seeing them on May 15th and Tool live is almost better (maybe better) than sex.
Even if they make 5 more albums that suck (I like all of their albums) I would still pay 5 arms and 3 legs to see them live again.
If you don't like the new album, go see them live. After Lateralus came out, I didn't personally like "The Grudge." When I saw them perform it live, it was so powerful that it quickly became one of my favorite songs.
TOOL LIVE = AMAZING
