I don't have the time to interact with the Tool community, although I wish I did; but, since I don't, I won't be posting or threading anymore (at least for a long while) because I don't want to take the risk of saying anything ignorant because I'm without the proper knowledge of a song or anything related. I've only known Tool for less than half a year. I can't get enough of listening to their music. Tool is comprised of incredible, extraordinary talant in song writing, musical composure and massive and remarkable artistry and Maynards' to die for vocals. I'll continue to listen to Tool songs every minute of all my days, when I can, because my love of listening to their music gives me strength and inspires me to push on through...

eh, why would it matter if you are not well intuned with a song/album/person...whole part of being in this kinda place to highten your knowledge while enjoying your time, in my opinion....I have listened to'em on & off since their first album & I tell you sometimes I dont even regonize the singer of the band.....to enjoy what it brought forth to ones ears does not mean you must know'em inside & out....god i cant even tell ya a name of a song at times conasure-ish is what I call myself "Oh ya that freak'en song listen to the WoRdS er the bass line....hold up that drum run....er that effect on the guitar...that freak'en whatca-ma-call-it....ahh the ride thats it 'tis coming at ya...the worker dudes pushing through that bass line holding.....holding.....BANG brings mary forth in to sight...." ahh helps put the comedic value in to a piece of work...
^ if you never got off the boat?....then do you at least have your papers.....?
"Tickets please......dont miss out.....one undenialble drama to un-fold at said time....*skull held up*....to ones wonder & amazment wont you come off that boat.....?.....wont ya sir.....?..."
Interesting feedback. Maybe I'll rethink. Roggles closed down my comment on Wings for Marie in a hurry, thought maybe i posted something incorrect, offensive or whatever. No alias here, what you see (read) is truly what you get

this is what i've said all along, 'no alias here,' so tough it out and hang in here.
be patient...

oh man, there's just not enough time to spend 10 or 20 minutes a day reading a website.
but I'm sure you spend plenty of time doing all kinds of other random shit during your day.

It's not the "proper knowledge" you lack; everyone has their own life experiences and they can use that to enjoy and discuss art.
The problem is your substance-less threads that go OMG THIS IS DA BEST AND THE BEST AND TOOL ROCKS GUYZ DONT YOU THINK THIS SONG IS, LIKE, THE BEST EVER?
Think about what you write...you might also want to re-read it from time to time to see how you sound.

most days we sail in circles and i'm trapped in the engine room shovelling coal but once in a while on a clear day the sound of gulls brings a smile and i dream of flying

I understand your point, BUT, I get overly enthusiastic over very little in this world, most everything in it makes me sick. Tool's music is very, uniquely special, no question. Their music voices my opinoins on what's wrong with humanity and the mere awesome musical sound, I can't get enough of
