Yeah I've been a member here since November 02 and yet my total number of posts is quite low. I come here a lot to check out what's going on etc. but usually it's inbetween uni and work and stuff so I don't post all that much...

I think it's funny that some people who have only joined in 2006 are well ahead of me despite my 3 year head start.

I've got triple j on now so if anything comes up during Full Metal Racket I'll more than likely let people know...

Andrew is talking about the new album now. May 6 release, more aggressive than Lateralus, killer opening track, awesome drums, interesting vocal ideas.

No, just a brief summary. He did say that he doesn't like listening to albums in rooms full of people, and that he needed more time to take it in.

Andrew (host of Full Metal Racket) didn't say too much more than what's already been reported, like the album being heavier, features long songs, interesting vocals, wicked drumming, titled '10,000 Days' etc.

He did add that there were only like 20 or 30 people in the room and that as soon as the last track on the album finished, Maynard (who apparently was in a white shirt, jeans and a cowboy hat) walked up to the DJ and took the cd out himself, put it in a case and straight into his pocket. Andrew's opinion was that they are being very careful not to let anyone get any leaks etc.

He also said it's out May 6th, which is the Saturday after Coachella and obviously a few days after it's supposed U.S. release date, Tuesday May2nd.

Not much else to report. In a few hours or so (maybe tomorrow even) you can hear the whole program at

http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/racket/default.htm

Just click on "Listen : stream last program" on the right hand side. The show will be up on the site for a week. The Tool bit is about an hour into the show...

If you're referring to the replay of the program, I don't exactly know but I think Triple JJJ will update their site sometime soon (maybe now, maybe in a few hours, maybe tomorrow) and you'll be able to hear the whole program from tonight, Tuesday, March 7th, 10pm-12am. They allow you to hear this full 2 hour replay for a whole week, then, obviously, the next week's show is put up etc.

Like I said, the Tool info bit came on at about 11pm so about 55-60 mins into the program should be almost spot on.

Hope this helps/answers your question...

What? The site (http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/racket/default.htm), or the info?
You'll have to wait until they actually replace last weeks show with tonight's one.
