does anybody have an extra poster from the SLC or Denver shows? I was unable to get a poster at either show even though I was at both of them. I have some (full) signed bottles of wine I would be willing to trade. a cheaper bottle for an unsigned poster or a (once again, full) bottle of Nagual de la Naga for a signed poster from either show.
I will be at the show in Cinci and I am looking to get one of the signed posters, if I can't get a signed one, I will buy an unsigned poster. My question is how is everybody holding them if you are in the pit or GA area? I don't want it to get ruined or crushed. What's everybody doing? Thanks

someone said theyll give you a cardboard tube for the signed one and a rubber band for the unsigned..that should help a little
I'm going to be in the pit at the Cincinnati show as well. I really hope it doesn't get messed up, but nothing much I can really do about it but try to stay away from people.
Kinda off topic, but I've heard $40 for the tour shirts, anybody know if that is correct? The pictures I've seen are pretty bad ass looking.

$40 is correct. Think it's $45 for 2XL.
I got one at the Fairfax show with the tour dates on the back and it's got the 4 band members with almost over-sized, bobble-head images. Kinda neato although Justin's head looks like an older image as he has moderately short hair and is clean shaven. Definitely not the Jesus/hippie Justin that we're used to now.
Sounds cool. I haven't seen a picture of that one.
The 2 I seen was one with two guys on back with there toungues connected with dates at the bottom and the other one had the Tool wrench on the back with tour dates and a crazy eye spiral on the front.
Anybody know the size of the posters? I'd assume they are the smaller size not full size, but I hope I'm wrong.

Do the posters come rolled or are you on your own as far as that is concerned?
For the unsigned ones, you're on your own.
For the signed ones, they give you this triangular box thing to fold the poster up in. It's very awkward and impractical, and quite annoying to carry around.
Looks like I'm bringing my own postal tube to the show. You can't even stick those triangular tubes in a pocket. F-ing dumb.
I brought my own tube to the ATL show and they wouldn't let me bring it in.Kinda stupid as they were giving them away with the signed ones.I guess they thought I was gonna use a cardboard tube as a weapon. You can try but I doubt they'll let you.If you do,I wouldn't ask anyone if you can bring it in,just try to walk in with it,if they stop you try to talk to em,but it'll probably be a losing battle.
So assuming they can sell 350 units/night (out of the nearly 10 000 people at some of these shows), on top of everything they make $35000 on posters. They make someone's salary off of posters. Every night.

Not all posters are signed, therefore not all are being sold at $100 a pop.
I'm not sure how many were signed of the 350, but certainly not all of them. I'd venture to guess not that many.
$25 for an unsigned print is a good deal. These are small run, numbered, hand screened prints on heavy weight stock. I bought a signed San Antonio and an unsigned Dallas while at the Dallas show. Bought them 3-4 minutes after the doors opened. At that point in the evening, they told me they didn't think they were going to have signed Dallas prints. (apparently the signed Dallas prints showed up shortly after I made the purchase).
Long story short, these are really cool mementos. Little pieces of art in and of themselves. I'm in the process of building frames for them as I type this. I had mats cut yesterday.
Thanks. That one glows in the dark. Very cool under blacklight! There's some great posters available on this site:

Thanks lotus. Still looking for unsigned copies of Manchester, Kingston, Cincinnati, and San Antonio. If anyone can help me out please PM me and we can work something out. Thanks.
I tried to get a hold of a poster at the Charlotte show. The unsigned one sold out 3 people infront of me, and I didn't have enough on me to pay for the signed one.
