There is a video of an interview kickin around where Adam talks about some problems they're having with the CGI company. So we get these delays. Sucks i agree.

that video with the white puppet from prison sex? if that wasnt the real deal ill give you 20$ when the real one is released.
I'll take that bet Luthor. I believe its already been discussed elsewhere, but the video you speak of is nothing more than a fan concoction, cobbled together out of footage from "The Comb." "The Comb" is a stop-motion animation short film, created by the Brothers Quay in 1990. Go ahead, check IMDB if you don't believe me...
ah that explains the similarites...after all the brothers quay have been part of the production of a few of their videos.
I just hope they release all soon or else I will be really pissed:)
Yea dumbass.
Bros. Quay.
Adam was very influenced by them.
Jan Svankmajer too.
Look em up.
I liked how sure you were about it.
But its so obviously not a tool video.
Tool wouldnt make a new video in black and white.
It would look flim quality like schism and parabola with big sets and live people.

I saw an interview with Adam where he said there were some legal problems over creative differences so they had to scrap the original video and make a new one.
Doesn't look like a tool video if you ask me... any thoughts?
Very subtle video.
"Eye on the TV", oh look, there's a guy with his eyes on the TV. "Killed by the husband", oh look, there's OJ. "Angels in the hearts of men", oh look there's men. With angel wings. "Devour to survive", oh look the snake ...etc.
It looks like a video that wants to look like a tool video.
That video was disappointing. the only thing i liked was the lady in leather that ends up being a big white hunk-o-love in the end. Like an ode to teh AENIMA artwork.
The news flash scenes are lame.
But then again, there's many variations of that clip on youtube.com, so i was wondering...
Does anyone know where those leather-suit-lady-turns-flab-queen scenes are from? another artists video perhaps? a tool video i haven't seen? a movie?

they just shouldnt release a video now
i mean, maybe later on, as an extra on their dvd, if it ever shows up... didnt they release other singles without videos?
but i wouldnt be unhappy if they did release a video for vicarious
Where the hell is the Vicarious video? I mean, I've never seen an album come out and the lead off video take so long and come out so far past the albums debut. I've heard of bands that have put out albums that have sat for a very long time, then a single happens to take off at some point and THEN the label wants to make a video for it...but obviously this is not Tool. Doesn't anyone else find this odd? I know there has been discussion of it and mention off and on but really, I know we'd like to see it but is it even relevant to the album debut anymore? Look at how Stinkfist came out with Aenima, or Schism with Lateralus. It's just so strange when you think about it. The next single has already been released and pushed to radio. The only thing I could really see them doing is selling it the way they did with Schism and Parabol/a via a DVD, which is kinda lame. I mean wouldn't it sound kinda odd if you were watching MTV2 and you heard "September 17th the premiere of Vicarious"?? Ok ASIDE from the fact you would of course be thinking the same as myself "awesome, can't wait to see it" wouldn't you also be thinking "uhhh wait isn't that single like 5 months old? And thats even if they have it out by then....any thoughts on this?

Last night i visited youtube.com to see if any TOOL videos have been posted from 10,000 days, and there is a video there for the THE POT, however, it doesn't have the same look and feel of past TOOL videos, but the same stop/motion style. I just wanted to know if anyone can verify if this video on youtube (its got a farmer watering his crops and huge snails in it) is an official TOOL video or if it is the work of an admiring fan, which is also cool cuz the video is well done.
