This song reminds me a little bit of:
GNR - Coma (Use Your Illusion I)
Obviously not musically, but a similar situation to explore.. the mind in a body that isn't moving so well.
I like this song, but I think it would come across better if we had one more 'normal' song on the album.. IMO.

yeah for sure, good pickup. i love Coma and this definately is in a similar vein, first person narrative losing my mind kinda thing. Also coma changes tack musically a lot (for GNR anyway) with different parts throughout, i guess a parallel to tool there as well.
