my first impression of it. just sayin.
I listen to this and I can't help but think back to that snippet at the end of Lateralus, and I like to think of this tune as a continuation of that little story.
a damn ROCKIN one at that.

YES! My first impression exactly...
Like the way the person in the sound bit was being chased down...then in lost keys, he's obviously been roughed up and dumped off into obscurity....LOL
